An above average guy put with a bunch of far-exceeding characters, forced to accept his normality when his powers are no longer of use yet still managing to stay relevant to the story. The guy is an anime embodiment of the human upon entering another's area of expertise. We feel we are good enough to excel in the field by whatever means, and then find ourselves at bay against people whom are far more proficient in said activity. Anyone who has ever had high self-expectation and then been shot down can relate to Yamato, not to say he is fodder or irrelevant as a whole, but rather he is a giant and yet a dwarf among titans

Wooster got an infraction that removed all his powers, TBC tried to reverse it and then he also got demodded, then he made the thread stepping down as a Quasi

it did but it was also building up for awhile

the way it looks in the public is that he actually kinda just snapped but I did some research in the staff forums and it seems that there was a gradual erosion of his temper over a year and a half. But regardless I think TBC is a great guy.

One doesn't even need to be privy to the back door stuff to see that, just watching him since last summer tells me he's been gradually getting more and more furious with the situation and worn out in general. It bled through even into his more mundane posts

there must have been some rl drama too guy was seriously over the top by the end of 2011

I'm not sure if he was a great guy, he gave me a chance but he also did things to me behind the scenes that were pretty much dick moves. He did good for the BG's though but he also considered this place his personal kingdom.

I think he's a complicated guy..verses forum history wise he's probably a lot closer to someone like Wayne Poe or Tanith than he is..Wong or Serge

Remember the lockdown? That never needed to happen, that was a very loud sign that the guy needed help. For awhile those of us who got modded in the interim stabilized the situation but really..it was close

The fact of the matter is that TBC had a burden to carry and the way we had idiots and trolls walking around made him and the rest of the BG look like . The BG WAS his section. And what was happening seemed to convey the job he was doing (in everyone else's eyes.)

That being said, TBC was, in his eyes, given no praise from Quasis for the work he did. In spite of the lockdown he tried to make things better, however it just put more stress in him.

Eventually he just exploded.
