Well i think thats what will happen...

As in my mind there are 3 "time zones" in Naruto... PTS, Shippuden and All timers.

First Hokage, Second Hokage, Minato, etc. They are neither PTS nor TS but they are just a big part in Konoha history. So i guess in my book we would get Shippuden characters + a few all timers. (And ofcourse a few EDO PTS like Zabuza and Haku)

Only exeption to this are the Sound 4, i would really like to see them in Storm 3. As pretty much all main characters from PTS are already in. (ofcourse not Konoha 12, Sand 3, but we have them in TS version)

The fun thing is character wise there is alot more to come according to the cc2 interview from earlier on. Already those 3 look pretty epic but I am happy to say that there is more to come...the game play and everything looks way to early to judge notice how the characters did not even speak the clips they showed make it certain the game is still early in development.

I dont have to remind some of you as we witnessed sasuke and raikages animations and jutsu and effexts change multiple times before generations was finally released do I ?.

Actually, I wonder what Mifune would be like as a support character. If his jutsu is cinematic, then what does that make his support jutsu?

I am sorry but I have to switch gears here I need to discuss kakashi * he is in need of a serious overhaul for years I wished they changed his combos my goodness I hope he gets a brand new move set of all the chars he needs to be improved especially his combos could be more cinematic and varied...for example involving shadow clones and mud wall like he did to pain. I hope his war version will be unique to his other versions. his throw needs an update too with more effects it would be cool to see him do something like drop a smoke bomb

I wanna see some improvements on Kakashi, Neji, If the Hokages are in i hope they make new stuff for them too( dream with hashi being ressurected and have his edo tensei version so he could get madaras kicked ^^ *.* want to much that, or at least new ultimate, jutsu and combos xd), Yamato should get new stuff too, guy much more stuff xD, tsunade must be in as the hokage costume( she looks so damn pretty with it ) and the war outfit when she fights madara, i also would like to see masked man moveset a little bit changes, his combos are already awesome but they could be more, and his jutsu have to be definitely repaired.
The akatsuki character, besides they are dead in the war arc i think they should at least give them new costumes and they could change their moveset a bit because they were all copy pasted from Storm 2, excluding Itachi(Tsukoyomi) and Kisame(Tailess-Tailed Beast Transformation).
i also would like to have some special characters, hopefully from the movie, i really hope that akatsuki has some new moves on the movie so CC2 could at least, add them new jutsus and stuff ^^

I'm gonna throw out a wild guess for when the game ends...so, spoilers incoming below. If you haven't read the manga and aren't current, you've been warned.

Spoiler:

I'm guessing it'll end right before the Naruto, Bee, Kakashi, & Guy vs Tobi. We'll probably get a teased ending right as they're about to face off. We'll probably have an epilogue-type chapter like in UNS2. So if you unlock everything, you'll get to play the Sasuke & Edo-Itachi vs Kabuto.

I hope we get to the end of the war arc, really I do...but it just doesn't seem possible. I'm not 100% sure, but this isn't the last Ultimate Ninja Storm, right? There is only so much you can put into a single game...especially with such a huge roster incoming. I don't think the series will be over by the time the 3rd game comes out neither. So there has to be enough content left to warrant a 4th game.

I've been looking over a couple discussions about the sub-bar and have been trying to think of a fair way to fix it. I've yet to play Generations online competitively, so I don't know much. I'm still just unlocking everything (Survival). But what's the matter with having subs take chakra instead of using a sub-bar? It prevents spamming and would force people to be more careful with their use of chakra.

EXACTLY, the sub bars make people use stupid characters that hit you like 3 times (onoki) The sub bars make people play even worse than Storm 2 -.-

Make them use their chakra bar, that's the whole point. Not trying to be an ass (sorry if I come off that way), but would it really be that different if the energy used to sub was linked to your jutsu?

Yea but when you use sub, your not using chakra.

Hypothetically? I'm just trying to have a discussion about a what-if scenario. I suppose it would be to much of a drain anyways...without using any jutsu or dashes, let's say an entire bar of chakra would be worth four or five subs? It would just force people to think before they sub (or mash, lol). Ranged characters would probably become to overpowered. /shrug

But, they can even keep the sub bar, just
1 - Add more (5?) subs
2 - Add Iframes again
3 - When your subs are coming back up, if you sub before they come back, they stop, there's no reason for that, I shouldn't be forced to take damage because the sub bars take like 1 second each to come back.

Well in Generations is like a 10 second interval. But the only thing is to force the player to use it all and keep hitting him. Now it wouldn't be fair if it keeps happening. So then when you are getting hit too much, the subs comes back up. Now I believe that since they have perks for online, which makes it easier for everybody.

Tbh this game needs a complete overhaul. Substitution as a core gameplay element is pure BS. Its a friggin get out of jail free pass -_-
