Spoiler: Edo Tensei. Who, How, Why

I didn't see another post addressing this topic, so I thought I would give it a shot. Who do you think would've made a great Edo Tensei summon, that didn't 'make the cut' (Example: Hokage, Jiraiya, etc)? How would Kabuto gather the required DNA? Why would you suggest that character? Explain your reasons.

Hatake Sakumo ("Konoha's White Fang"): Specifically to mess with Kakashi. He was a high ranking shinobi and was said to have enough power to rival the Sannin. Being such a famous person, you'd think Orochimaru would've stolen the DNA needed. It would've been a good chance to finally see this character in action.

Uzumaki Kushina ("Red-Hot Habanero"): To mess with Naruto. I don't know if this is possible. We're told that people sealed by Shiki Fujin were unable to be summoned by Edo Tensei. But I don't think Kushina was sealed...some of her chakra was used, but ultimately it was Minato who used Shiki Fujin. Just like the character above, this would've been a good chance to see the character in action, and Orochimaru could've stored the DNA.

Shimura Danzo: I can see why Sasuke & Tobi would be against him being used in Edo Tensei. But they have his friggin' corpse already. He could've been used to stir up a little trouble...at least with the Ex-Root members. This would be a good chance to see him get killed agai-- I mean...in action.

Konan ("Angel"): One of my favorite characters. She would've caused a lot of havoc on the battlefield. She was the closest to actually defeating Tobi (so far). Her appearance could've messed with Naruto & Amegakure shinobi.

Discuss?...

They could be strong opponents indeed.

Kishi just probably forgot to use them.

Sakumo: Probably too good to be revived.
Kushina: Wasn't she also sealed in the Death Reaper Seal? No wait. That was just chakra sealed with some other jutsu.
Danzo: Hmm..Tobi does have the body somewhere...right?
Konan: Probably at the bottom of the sea somewhere.

Oro was not in the village at that time when he killed himself and the village proply destoyed the body cuz they were so angry

Kushina could not do anything plus her DNA would be hard to find and she was buried

Danzo destroyed his body along with his soul

IDK about Konan . I thought her body was in the ocean or destoyed

Hm. I forgot that Danzo used a seal on himself when he died. I just thought he crushed Shisui's eye. We don't really know what happened to Konan. Danzo just choked her out, lol. When the Genjutsu ended, she would be dead...but it just switched to Tobi grabbing the Rinnegan. As for Kushina's body, if she was burried, I don't think Kabuto is above grave robbing.

My theory about Konan is that since she betrayed the Akatsuki, Madara wouldn't want her to be brought back, and Kabuto knew this.

Sakumo's DNA might've been hard to be obtained.
Kushina is not really a good summon.
Danzo is legendary.
Konan would be of great help.

Maybe that DNA would've been hard to obtain.

Kabuto not that good, so we can't expect much
but if possible i want he can summon Jiraiya, it will be very sad moment when he meet naruto

I was REALLY bummed with their explanation for not reviving him. His body is to deep?...Kisame is a shark and I'm sure they're smart enough to somehow modify Zetsu to handle it. It would've made for a good fight..

He isn't that good? What are you talking about?
He summoned Uchiha Madara, who is a god compared to Sakumo. He was just lazy, or Kishi forgot about Sakumo.

He looped by his own summon didn't he?
i know he's genius, but still he only puppet for Orochimaru and his battle ability not so great since he is spy so his greatest ability is collect information, so that he can gather madara's DNA
but yes just maybe Kishi forgot or too lazy

Danzo, Konan and Kisame are not really Edo-worthy, since they died shortly before the war started. They appeared recently, and we know ALL about their abilities, so there's no point...

In my opinion, these are the characters that should've been revived as well:

Sakumo Hatake - We don't really know much about his abilities. It would've been interesting to see what the White Fang of the Hidden Leaf was capable of.

Shisui Uchiha - Again, we don't really know much about his abilities... And... he's an Uchiha. >_>

Fugaku Uchiha - To see what his abilities are as well. It'd be interesting to see what his reaction would be to everything that's happened after the Uchiha Massacre. What his reaction would be when he sees what Sasuke has become and what he's done...

Jiraiya - Obviously for psych messing. Would've been interesting what Naruto would say if he saw him...

yeah Fugaku will be good twist, but itachi easily kill him, maybe that's why kabuto think he not worth to summon
and i think Shisui is still alive, he join madara side and became one of those tobi
and Sakumo well known for his chakra blade, so that maybe his ability more like Asuma but more deadly with outrageous bloody chakra blade

that's why Kishi didn't want to Jiraiya summoned by Kabuto

Well, we still have Sasuke and Orochimaru. I have a feeling that an Edo tensi will be there.
