Kurenai vs Shizune

This has been done to death but its sort of established that Shizune would win.

Kurenai's only shown Genjutsu may be high level, but she happens to be fighting someone whose highly intelligent, and has some of the best chakra control in the entire manga. Intelligence and chakra are two key elements in dispelling illusions, and Shizune excels in both areas. Breaking herself out of Kurenais illusions is relatively easy, and if impossible Shizune can always bite her lip to reach safety.

Its true that Kurenai was able to react to attacks from Itachi but it is speculated that he wasn't really trying, he may not necessarily have been moving at his top speed. The needles Shizune is able to spit were unavoidable even for someone as reflexive as Kabuto, as such its debatable whether or not Kurenai could avoid them, particularly at close range.

Although the match could prove to be a long, tedious one, Shizunes Poisonous Mist and fast needle attacks makes her far more likely to come out victorious than Kurenai who can merely spam genjutsu which is easily breakable.

shizune has great chakra control so she should be able to get out of genjutsu or use posionous gas to kil her

havent seen much of either but shizune has better combat feats and poison. then again genjutsu is more useful than poison and by hype kurenai should be uchiha calibre.
