Visitor Message Guide!

Visitor messages are publicly viewable messages posted on member profile pages. To post a message, click on the 'Visitor messages' tab, and use the form at the top of the section. You will only be able to use certain formatting in these messages, as described underneath the edit box.

This message will be viewable by all visitors to this profile, including guest users and search engine robots if the administrator has allowed this. To communicate privately with a member, send a Private Message instead.

Visitor messages can be edited or deleted by site moderators or the member who owns the profile. If you see a visitor message that is not appropriate, you can alert the moderators by clicking on the 'Report' link. The 'View Conversation' link allows you to view all visitor messages between the member and the owner of the profile.

-Lets say you want to post something on my profile. What you do is, you post what you want and post it on my profile.

-Once I receive the Visitor Message, (I am not sure once the pop-up notification are coming back and I am pretty sure the notifications for VM's will not happen)

-I would have to go to the person who replied to my VM to their profile and post there instead.

Also, posting a Visitor Message is like posting in a thread. It has the same tools you have by posting a thread or the post itself.

Exactly my point. When I used Vm the first time on a different forum. I mostly post on my profile.

Aside from the mods deleting VMs thing, you're right on.
Mods can't delete VMs. Only SMods+

They can, if they are given the ability when added as a moderator
