How does everyone change names?

I've seen some guys change their names here, how is that possible?

You contact a Quasiadmin or Green name to have your name changed. You must have a very good reason for your name to be changed and you only get one name change.

Hm...I don't have a reason, I just want to change my name from 'Uchiha Maruko' to just 'Maruko'...If it's possible, of course. It's not that I don't like my name, but changes are good sometimes, don't you think?

I've seen for example: Kiko Hyuuga(now Kiko kun), Boxhead327(now just BoxHead) etc.

I assume that's not necessarily true, or it's a recent development, as I've had my name changed twice.

I just want to take the underscore out of my name. It was only there because I didn't know I could have a space in my username xD
