Ok hanzo.... mifune, I expected this... Although, I hope Red Haired Teen Nagato is in so I can kill Hanzo with his gedo mazo!

Ps. Has anybody else though,... to those who are playable in edo.. don't you think cc2 should take 2 seconds to make them also not eco characters? Like give them there normal eyes. Same move set and everything just eye differences. I would like it this way.

Mifune along with Hanzo and Hokage Naruto will be playable in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3! At least that’s according to Japanese blog TaleTaleSource, which often correctly reveals information that will be in the up-coming issue of Shonen Jump.

Mifune is the General from the Land of Iron while Hanzo is the former Hidden Rain Village leader. Since the up-coming episodes of Naruto Shippuden will feature Hanzo in the reincarnated through Edo Tensei, that is the version we can expect to be playable. And if you remember Hokage Naruto from Naruto Storm 2, well, he is making a comeback! He will be playable from the start if you have a Naruto Generations save file on your PS3/360.

Before getting too excited on this, let it be known, Saiyan Island considers Mifune, Hanzo, and Hokage Naruto’s playable status a rumor. The only way we can consider this legitimate is if we get a Shonen Jump scan or word by another official source, like CyberConnect2, confirming this information.

Not sure, but if the rumor is true, there should be a scan posted about it soon.

True but usually the rumors are posted on saturdays or late friday night so i hope it comes out sooner than sunday

and i wouldnt count Ginkaku&Kinkaku out just yet. IF there not present on the roster i wont really care much, they may fall short of having some characters Sora but overall they do a good job.

though it feels like there just revealing characters and thats it really like they did with generations. We have a story mode this time...we should see a new boss fight or what the free roam is like.

As im pretty much hoping for ALL generations characters to be playable besides PTS Kohoha 12 / Sand 3 / Kid Kakashi and Obito. They should leave the rest of the roster in the game and playable.

Just thinking... they stated Storm 3 to have the largest roster ever. If they take out those 17 above (which is fairly safe to assume) that means we will get about 20 - 25 NEW characters this time? Which is quite a lot!

hmm that could be very possible esecially with the sound 4 however at least you have the peace of mind knowing the developers are very aware of the sound four.

sorry i hope you got my message I had relatives over and that pillow fight had to happen besides I was so distracted you probably would have beaten me without much of a challenge.

I think mifune will be like sasuke and have epic samurai techs and hanzo will probably have his trademark poison and i guess both of them will be used by me for sure but its way to early for me to name favorites ... the more chars the merrier!

I remember reading from the interview that costumes will be one of the things the devs focus on so that is nice news and perhaps we will get info on that soon. As far as nagato and zetsu goes I sure hope we get them in some way shape or form.

You do realize you rarely ever see the characters eyes if at all no point in that.

I actually hope they make some move up for Hanzo as well as what he has, because what he has is basically a summoning, an explosive tag technique and that's it. Give him some fancy water thing too, that'd be cool.
I am glad that Mifune and Hanzo are rumoured here though because finally we get some more variety in characters. As much as I love all the characters already, I get somewhat bored of the rosters always being:
-Leaf Village
-Sand Village
-Akatsuki
-Sound Village
Now, with Darui as well, we have the Cloud Village, Land of Iron and the Rain. I'm hoping we get Kurotsuchi, Akatsuchi and Kitsuchi so we finally get some Stone action aside from the Tsuchikage.

hmmmmmm if i download a gen save file would that still unlock that hokage naruto cloak? i hope they don't go crazy with locking things. shouldn't it be based on storm 2 save seeing as thats were he comes from any way. it sounds like it's on storm 3 disc but is locked out.

Lol, actually I'd love it if they went crazy with locking things. Every character is too easy to get and it ruins that sense of accomplishment you feel when you finally beat a really hard challenge to get rewarded with a new character.
I remember Ultimate Ninja 1, getting Curse Mark Sasuke and 9 Tails Chakra Naruto was the hardest thing ever, but once you cleared that mission and you unlocked them you felt great. I was pretty ecstatic myself, lol.

now related to this subject, when we instaled generations we also received raikage as a gift, some ninja info cards and ryo because we had storm 2 saved files, i think probably that is what gonna happen with storm 3, we finish installation and receive naruto hokage costume, something like that xd, or we may have to pray again to a buda on mount myoboku and its unlocked ahah.
I think that in the rooster there should be a section for each village, then akatsuki, then edo tensei ^^ hope that the hokages are back cause i really want to make a hashirama vs madara fight, but before that i want madara to be confirmed and one full scan dedicated to him haha, with his susanoo and meteorite technique, im right now imagining how awesome its gonna be, hope tomorrow the scan is out

mifune should have the samurai sabre technique from the kage summit as it would provide long range attacks and more move versatility
