What? The last time she fought with Jiryria she used a summoning why not now? Why would she not summon katsayu? She summoned a lil Katsayu and gave it to Naruto when he was going to fight Pain so at the very least she would give one to Jiryria and herself while she is at it? I can not say for sure she is going to summon anything but neither can you. It is just 1 in 1,000 scenairos

She can use a summoning to break out of sand coffin. Lava style is a mid to short range attack so Tsunade can punch her lights out if they are soo close OR she can dodge it

Lil katasyu gives off chakra to help heal Tsunade

Acid covers a large distance so it is unlikely she dodges. Garra can block with sand but Jiryria can use flame bombs or summon Gama to attack. Basically this is why it is Garra vs sannin because Garra will be too busy protecting Mei

Tsunade used a boss summon to try to heal the village people. That is one sceniro or theory of the fight. Without summonings the kages would win but without the kages would lose. This would be a very easy and boaring win for the kages.

Tsunade speed feats: barly kept up with Kabuto so she is a lil slower than her
Mei speed feats: Kicking zetsu at the summit.

It does not take that long to bite yourself and slam hand down. When she summoned it when pain invaded it did not take very long

Imo, Gaara and Mei win.

The volume of sand that Gaara uses in part 2 (Shippuden) is so huge that it's unlikely Jiraiya and Tsunade would be able to break through. He can also use his sand to allow him and Mei to fly, and Mei could use boil and lava release for defense and offense along with hidden mist and water style. Gaara's sand sensing ability would allow him to attack them in the mist.

Like you pointed out garra is doing most to all of the heavy lifting by getting Mei out of danger than taking her to the skies.

While He is in the air he can not make more sand as well.

Jiryria summons all 3 boss toad summonings while Tsunade summons Katasyu. Tsunade then gives Jiryria a lil Katasyu just in case.

While the kages go in the air the frogs use oil and water and fire on the Kages

The frogs should also be able to give Jiryria enough time to go into Sage mode. Once there it is Frog Song for the win.

Mei is practically useless
and
Jiryria and Tsunade know how to work together

It depends on distance but about weakened saskue was able to avoid the lava which is equal to lee gate 1 which is about where Tsunade is. YOU PROVE SHE WOULD GET Hit

Summoning does not take that long. And Garra would have a hanful with a falling toad
