Both are in character but are out for the kill

they both stand on different heads of Madara and Hashirama

Sasuke evades any attack Gaara tries easily and then cuts him in half with chidori sharp spear.

And yes, Sasuke's attack can most definitely do this considering PTS Sasuke's Chidori went through PTS Gaara's sand dome and sand armor like butter.

Garra's sand would react to sharp spear. With the distance it would not get to Garra right away.

Garra has better long ranged jutsu

And it would slice through his sand like butter. Sasuke simply uses CM2's wings to glide over while covering his body with chidori stream for protection.

Which he couldn't use seeing as he's on top of one of the statue's heads (He can't grind minerals from the staue so he'd need to send his sand down to the ground somewhere to get some.) Sasuke could close the distance easily before Gaara could grind up enough minerals to make the sand needed for attacks like sand tsunami.

Garra has enough sand with him to float down and make a hardened sand wall to shield from the spear.

If saskue goes in the air or not Garra can use sand shower.

And a hardened sand dome and sand armor were pierced easily by a PTS Sasuke's weaker chidori three years prior. If your talking about the Shukaku's Armor defense that PTS Gaara used against Kimimaro, then i'll counter by saying he neeeded more sand than what was in his gourd and that Shippuden Sasuke's Chidori is way stronger than Kimimaro's strongest bone.

And he dodges pretty easily with sharingan. Also, sand shower, if i'm not mistaken, needed more sand than is in Gaara's gourd.

Gaara starts out with only what is in his gourd. Sasuke blitzes him before he gets enough sand to use some of his more powerful attacks.
