What do I think about The Legend Of Korra so far? It was actually pretty good. I can't wait to see how they handle Book 2. I hope Book 2 isn't so rushed, like Book 1 was.

I was stuck somewhere between good and great, I give this season around an 8 out of 10. It was just too condensed, they messed up the ending and made the series predictable. The season finale tied up too many loose ends too fast, it was like every second of dialogue answered every mysterious question we had to ask. The show started off great, giving us new characters to relate to, creating a new team, giving some romantic fanservice to the teenage boys and girls out there, swooning over Asami and Mako. And seeing how the Avatar universe had advanced so much was fascinating, but that last episode was just too predictable. Asami and Bolin's fight with Mr. Sato was hardly intense. Iroh barely got to demonstrate his bending capability and got pwned by a random plane. Mako somehow became the first person to resist blood bending from a master (although this I can understand because he does use and redirect lightning which requires a water bending foundation along with a unique firebending twist).

And as I expected Korra got a spirit world bailout. It was like it didn't matter that she screwed everything up and that for an entire season her powers weren't great enough to protect Republic City because all she needed when she gets in a pinch is to call on the mommy and daddy Avatars of the past to come save her and her friends. At least Aang was naturally in touch with the Spirit World and learned how to control the Avatar state before it helped him save everyone. But on a good note, I loved how they ended the story between Tarlokk and Amon, it was actually extremely dark for a kid's show which surprised me. But if the Avatar series ever wants to hang with the best animes in history of the Eastern Hemisphere that's what it has to do and I'm glad DiMartino and Konietzko realized this.

I give it a 6/10.

I didn't like Korra, she's a little skank that needs to die.

The Legend of Korra is being extended by 26 episodes, now up to 52 episodes. That pretty much means there will be a book 3 & 4.

Hopefully, it doesn't. However, Legend of Korra had been originally planned to only be a twelve-episode one shot, not three entire seasons.

Really?

Huh, that makes sense.

If anything, they'll have a timeskip.

Well the creators must have some idea of a longer story, otherwise I doubt they would have agreed to extend it an additional 2 seasons. They know how much the fans love the show and its quality and they wouldn't want to disappoint especially after the movie fiasco.

It doesn't really have to be a timeskip, though I've heard that's what the plan is, not sure if its legit or not.

I mean, they could briefly go the route of the Fire Nation again, or troubles outside of Republic City.
