because you probably would only be able to use it once per match and awakenings arent that hard to deal with anymore if generations is anything to go by..yeah some are overpowered but you can still punish them. Plus theres Fatigue after they awaken to take advantage of. we really dont know the whole picture yet so its best to just wait in more info. But from what i hear about it i like it.

this game focuses on the war and id like the roster to reflect that and other shippuden characters. imo PTS has no place in this game.

No, Matsuyama never said PTS character will not be in. It's a personal assumption made by the interviewer, which was included in a seperate note after Matsuyama said that Shippuden characters will be the focus. Just because the interviewer assumes that PTS characters may not be in, doesn't make it a fact really.

ah i see that clears that up then thanks Parak. I saw the interview and it was in Question and Answer format so i assumed that was the answers that he gave.

though i still believe their not going to be in but guess time will tell.

EDIT: translated the interview myself and your right it was just his assumption. a fair assumption based on the answer that was given though id say.

anyway moving onto these awakening moves. what moves do you think they will add to your favorite character? Will EVERY character have at least one you think?

He did make it clear that they are only getting rid of characters that are exclusive to the original Naruto, the 1st and 2nd Hokage do not fall under that. Again I think we will only see the PTS versions of Konoha kids being left out.

ok lets say PTS characters are in aside from the child forms of existing characters. who would you expect to see there?

I don't really understand the question. But it's not like they will be getting rid of the 3rd Hokage, Kimimaro, Zabuza or Haku since they are all in the War arc. I personally don't think they would be dumb enough to leave out the 1st and 2nd Hokage so there are no other characters they can leave out.

i mean as in what PTS characters would you expect to be in storm 3 aside from them Edo's. Sound 4? lol i hope people arent still asking for Dosu, Zaku and that girl lol

cc2 needs to take out guard supports or nerf them. they have 3 abilities compared to the other types of supports that have 2.

1. they guard the person when they charge their chakra

2. they guard against ninja dashes

3. they guard against chakra dashes.

they should take away the ability to guard against chakra dashes.

on a side note attack supports need to be nerfed. only combos should cause knockback.

on a whole, a way to make sure supports are balanced is for cc2 to male it so you can only have 1 support from each category.

Oh, well I really don't expect or care about them adding new characters from before the time-skip. That ship sailed with Generations.

I agree on That...

Konoha 12 and Sand 3 will be out. Probably kid Kakashi and Obito will be out as well. And i can't be bothered by this

As we know, Hurizen will be in even tough he was a PTS character, guess it will be the same for 1st and 2nd.

As for most other characters they were in Shippuden as well. So Zabuza and Haku can still be in. Same goes for.... (dont read the spoler if you dont read the Anime

I DO hope however that Non-Edo characters will still be there!! Even if they are just diffrent costumes i still like to play as normal Pain, Kakuzo, etc etc (And even Zabuza/Haku) And it would be kinda weird to have all Akatsuki Edo's with a normal Hidan)

I can see people using their awakening just before an ougi lands just to escape it, unless they change it so some of the characters can still be hit by them even when awakened. That would make things so much easier XD. Awakenings are overpowered as it is.
