I'm glad we're all having fun so far, but please be sure to keep your avatars the same as the image you provided in the sign-up thread. I really don't want this new feature to take a 180 twice in the same week.

And it should go without saying but at least try to stick with one image of your character. Thanks guys!

A picture of any anime or manga character that Viz owns is potentially illegal, so it's best to avoid Viz owned stuff altogether. To find out what anime and manga Viz licenses, your best bet is to look around wikipedia. If Viz Media is displayed as the english publisher, you should stay away from posting pics of that anime/manga entirely. Everything else is pretty much fair game as long as the image isn't invasive on any of the other forum rules.

When in doubt, you can usually ask a mod or admin via PM whether an image is okay or not.

I'm too busy to go through the sign-up thread and PM people who aren't interested.

On that note, people in villages may want to let other people in their villages know about this since not everyone who saw it previously will notice it a second time, and not everyone will see it period.

It'll continue until one of the following happens:

-The War Council closes the registration thread, if that ever even happens.

-People stop following the custom avatar rules, forcing the whole project to get shut down.

-A Viz Admin says to stop.

-Muffin(the Quasi who started the CA thread) decides to stop it again.

Until one of those happens, this thread'll stay open and CA's will remain available to all WS participants.

Let me take the time to remind people who've been given custom avatar permissions through this of a very important detail.

1) You must sign up and submit your character's picture.
2) Your avatar shall be your official character.

I keep running into instances of people changing their avatar to something else other than the WS character image they signed up with. Keep in mind that this is just a trial period for custom avatars. Inability to follow the rules now can still mean loss of the feature altogether.

Please bear with these trial restrictions for a while longer, and for those who have remained consistent I appreciate your cooperation. Thank you.
