Awesome was away on vacation and when i got back saw all this awesome stuff on storm 3 I really hope someone posts a video of pictures of the minato boss battleit sounds cool and the 9 tails boss battle is insane.

It isn't the Combo Cancel OR the sub bar that people are hating on, it's the two TOGETHER that piss people off, but I don't think the sub bar would work alone, I prefered it if it was back to Storm 2 way of subbing, BUT, with air dashes, stronger guards, combo cancels, chakra dash cancels, and all that, THAT would work. But Sub Bar + Combo Cancel = Sh**storm
Edit: Also there should be a recoil when you sub that makes it only available for you to combo, no jutsu, grab, or UJ.

You know what I looked at what SpyN09 said but I didnt know that Spyroul also defended storm 2 mechanics as well. And no I am to blame for starting it lol

and it looks like you were right. What's annoying me right now is that people can get online and tell us what mechanics are in the game yet they cant seem to record it and show us instead lol.

The instant awakenings shall be interesting to use. The weird awakened L1 or R1 thing sounds fun too, adds more depth to the fights. I hope it isn't just a story mode thing but it seems that way.

hmph well it seems this game is getting very popular again heheh I love the info reported so far already and thanks for the post...brb I want to read everything clearly wow ...I cant believe it all yet :
*more jutsu with L1 R1 (although its not clear if its for story only it seems so)
*tons of chars to expect
*story mode looking epic
*instant awakening (ala dbz bt) would be epic if some chars had more than one
*graphics upgrade (the 9 tails boss battle looks superb already)
*and more surprises (chars, collectables, costumes and custom logs I hope)

this is shaping up very excellent and I am happy CC2 chose to release info as early as they did. Thanks everybody for the posts and info.

So minato moveset didnt change, they did seem to add more flashy effects to it though so that's good hopefully every character got this treatment then. The only thing im not liking is that Minato has that horrible storm 2 ultimate, I was hoping that at the least they would change it to the one he had in generation's since it was more apropriate for this battle. And because where not too sure if the other minato from generations will be in this.

I like the fact that now when characters hit the ground there is a big dust cloud.

I dont have generations so im not sure if this was in generations as well but it appears that now when masked man blocks attacks go through him (might be story only though) as minato's rasengan went through masked man.

The game also appears to be running smoother and there is a slight graphic uphaul (it's hard to tell because of the bad quality vid.)

I like that they went back to the storm 2 styled character arts (which were in-game models) The third hokage's artwork looks amazing. I will actually be buying Generations when I get paid Friday, so I can have something to hold me down until this comes out.

since this game is still very very very early it is likely things can change as some members here have already stated already. so character moves, gameplay, and ultimate j's are not final of course everything is speculation based on looking back on the amount of changes generation had......

I was just trying to help because there is still a wide gap from now till the release date judging from past games experience. Also I was not aware they said that but unless they give a specific time date then saying after storm 2's release is a casual and vague statement. Anyhow as I have said before I was very very pleased with generations and now I am very excited .....were still cool right ? because I also want Nagato and zetsu along with some other chars like orochimaru hidan the original hokages and more excitingly new war characters playable and refined.

btw I noticed a new thread here with characters people look forward to so ill brb..

LOL WOAH... Nothing is as bad as UT... Eeeek, that game was just... UGH. Not even a game. It's like a watching a bad movie -.-

Yes with the multiple awakenings option

edo madara will be amazing between a rinnengan awakening, a susano'o awakening and a complete susano'o awakening

So guys when you are in awakened mode and have the R1/L1 jutsu options,(Minato in this case) does he throw a Kunai with R1 and then you press L1 for Rasengan if it hits,or does he do this move only with R1 (for example) and with L1 another jutsu?

So are they 2 different jutsus available or only 1?

No idea... But it could be Story mode only... Like How Tsunade had Gamabunta and Katsuyu in UNS1, and Jiraiya had Ma and Pa in UNS2..

can't wait for more storm 3 gameplay also im a little shocked that cc2 is releasing the game little early so there is a chance they won't show the whole war arc but that's ok as long cc2 doesn't screw us

You know just because they announce it early doesn't mean they will release it early. The fact the Kyuubi boss battle is in shows that their already in later stages of development.

I heard they started this project when they finished storm two, which was a while ago.
