no doubt EVERYONE on the roster will have a new moveset/ultimate/jutsu.

I really want to see what theve done with the ultimates this time round too, i cant wait to see Neji's i just couldnt get into generations mainly due to characters having the same movesets etc and the story was bland. storm 3 is the game for me lol

hope they keep tournament mode since it looks like there keeping the sub system intact. I wonder what new mechanics they will introduce this time..proper team ultimates would be nice for a start


oh yeah thats right sora..well as long as they look cool im all for them, did anyone think the storm 2 character arts looked tons better than the generations ones?

I don't think they will.

Because CC2 is stupid like that. And most characters never learn anything new. Because KISHI is stupid like that.

Also fighting games tend to keep the same movesets for online purposes.

From the looks of Hiruzen vs Kurama, it looks like this takes place during the Nine Tails attack on Konoha. Which means this will take place from the beginning of Part 1 to the end of the war. Pretty much like Generations except there's boss battles and stuff. Which will be awesome, I can't wait for Sound 4 boss battles like Shikamaru vs Tayuya and Neji vs Kidomaru.

Obviously cuz he's losing. But since Tobi's health bar is half and is green/orangy red, I can count for 3 health bars. It'll go like:

Green
Red
Yellow

no i think its from the flashback when naruto meets kushina. Generations did part 1 to part 2 "with a lackluster storymode but it still covered points from both parts" so i doubt we will start from part 1. its shippuden after all

plus i dont want pts characters anywhere near this game. only current characters in the series.

But then that would confirm that there isn't a Naruto vs Kurama boss battle. And that's what we all wanted to see :0

Yo, it's been a while haha. I STILL haven't got Generations LOL.

Anyway that scan looks amazing, the logo is the most interesting part since it shows some of the Konoha 11 in their flack jackets. I think it'll be a while until we hear more about Storm 3 though. I'm actually really surprised that they've announced it this early.

Why would that confirm no Naruto vs Kyuubi? I mean, in the story, both of them fought Kyuubi. These are two entirely separate battles!!!

orochimaru should definitely have a more powerful ultimate this time around especially given the fact that this will be the final game. they do him little honor in storm 2 and in generations. he should have something devastating that fits him like maybe for his ultimate he can transform into his 8 branches form fire off that byjuu beam thing like he did in storm 2. pain's almighty push did not fit its name in the least in the last 2 games. when he does that jutsu he should be able to hit the opponent several consecutive times and sent him flying into a wall or way off to the other end of the map.

I think it'd make perfect sense since you'd start off fighting him as Naruto, then Kushina will show up after a QTE and then it'd switch the Sarutobi in the flashback. Or something similar depending on how they do the story mode.

You know, it's not THAT early actually. This is just the announcement. The game itself will probably come out Autumn 2013 and there's a lot of time.

I looked back at the SI summary of the game. It takes place where Storm 2 left off...so then that means it will start from the Five Kage Summit arc to the end of the war. Looks like we still have hope for a Sasuke vs Danzo boss battle.

i really hoe that the ultimates are like the ones in storm 1. they were absolutely devastating! the ultimates in storm 2 and generations are so lack luster and watered down. there isn't enough power to them. some of the justus in the manga and show are powerful enough to create huge cracks and craters in the earth. even though the ones from storm 1 didn't cause damage to the battlefield, they still had that devastating feel to them. it had just a pinch...an dash...a sprinkle...a taste of dbz power!(speaking of dbz) did u guys here about tenkaichi 3 which is supposedly the last in the series?

I just thought it was early since they'd still want Generations to sell, now that Storm 3 has been announced many indecisive customers might just wait until next year since a lot of Generation's characters will be improved in Storm 3. Pretty strange choice from their marketing side lol.

Most likely, although I'd prefer that they focused on the actual war more. Ginkaku/Kinkaku will be amazing characters. Darui better be playable!!!
