[Sage Mode]

So here's the deal. We're reviving the blog to include more than your token Naruto character birthday wish, and we need your help! We'll be doing some posts of our own of course, but we'd really love for the community here to contribute to the content of the blog and newsletter that's currently in the works. We want this user and forum focused more than anything else.

Topics
There are a number of things you can write about. We've a got a whole list of ideas and there's room for more if you have a great idea.

1. Featured Users
Interviews and/or discussions with top users from the site, with a special focus on Members of the Month

2. User Theories
Many of you have put in a lot of time and attention to making very well structured, formal write ups on various theories, arguments or ideas you have about various things.

3. Compilations of Ongoing Threads and Discussions on Themed Topics
Cull through the forum on a submitted theme idea and make a mix tape of the highlights, directing the readers to were they can contribute where relevant.

4. Compare and Contrast Posts
Bridge Viz content on the blog by comparing the happenings and stylings of the main Naruto series with that of other Viz series, likely centered on what's going on in Shonen Jump Alpha to start.

5. Chapter Bets! or Something Similar Targeted at the Anime
These would be GREAT for encouraging involvement, as they have a sense of urgency to them. The tricky part here is spoilers from the manga, however, so we might need to adapt it a bit.

6. Contests, Tournaments, Etc.
Pretty self explanatory, write up on them and feature them on the site.

7. Weekly Episode Discussions and / or Chapter Discussions
A return of an old feature that we may be able to use on manga discussions as well at some point, having an official thread for each episode or chapter.

8. Admin Side Chat
General Q and A with me or Sage about any of various things on the site or series that would have entertainment value and relevance beyond just the forum.

9. Featured Moments
Things pulled from the forum that are particularly insightful, entertaining, well written or in some way appealing.

10. Polls

11. Stuff about Naruto
We'd still have good old fashioned posts about Naruto and the series, as this is a Naruto site .

Things To Keep In Mind
-Be as clear and concise as possible. We're trying to draw people in to the forums, so reams and reams of text probably isn't the way to go.
-Strive to link back to threads in the forum in your writing.
-Your piece isn't exactly guaranteed to be used. And we may need to edit and alter as we see fit.

Besides it being pretty awesome that your writing could be featured on Naruto.com for all to see, we'll be sure to come up with some perks (custom badges, titles, rep, and more things yet to be determined).

Technically yes that's true if it's really not very good . But if you're submitting something every week, and are that inspired to contribute, then we'll do our best to look for ways to use your contributions in some way.

Anyone can run an interview. It would be up to that person to come up with good questions and then present it compellingly.
