Puppet Ideas

[Nixu Hyuga]

Just a few random ideas for a puppetmaster character I made.

Character's name is Kambei. He is the son of Kankuro and was taught the puppetmaster jutsu. He searched for (and eventually found) Sasori's and Chiyo's personal notes in order to learn how to be a better puppetmaster.

-Different Jutsu and Puppets-

1. Human Puppets

*was brought to life with One's Own Life Reincarnation, so it can move and fight on its own without Kambei needing to use chakra strings.

**all of Kambei's human puppets wear pure white cloaks

a. Scorch Release Human Puppet*
-it floats in the air w/ the bottom half of its body covered by its cloak.
-Flamethrower on both hands; he can use shoot scorch waves in front of flames to negate water's superiority over fire.
-Uses a flammable gas that is blown around by wind chakra and ignited; this creates bursts of flames that can curve and home in on an opponent.
- Has a summoning seal that summons oil out of mouth; puppet then ignites waves/ streams of oil with flames.
-it can use scorch release to defend against taijutsu, water release, wood release, and ice release by surrounding itself and Kambei with a dense cloud of it.
-using a cloud of scorch release, the puppet makes enemies see mirages. Mirages are where the intense heat refracts light; this makes the enemy see others in places where they are not. This improves evasion for Kambei and his puppets.

b. Sasori human puppet*
-has Hiruko's scorpion tail, but it can summon many to attack or defend (all poisoned) kind of like multi-fist summoning. His tail is hidden under his cloak.
-it can move underground and attack targets on the surface from below (w/ tails).
-the individual links of his tails, which can number in the hundreds or even thousands, can disconnect from each other. Chakra strings are attached to each link from Sasori's chakra thread spinner (in right chest). He can then control the segments to do several things which include but are not limited to: surrounding the enemy and shooting poisoned weapons, linking back into defensive walls and domes, and being flown into the enemy while explosive tags are in it (each segment has it.) This creates explosions of shrapnel.
-if broken apart, it will reform after awhile and continue attacking.
-has sonic emitter where heart cavity is; it emits earsplitting waves of sound that stuns enemies (and allies/ Kambei) unless they are wearing special equipment. Allows openings in an opponents defense or a quick getaway from multiple pursuers.
-Can shoot chakra laser beams from eyes (two versions: quick explosive shot and longer streams with piercing power). Takes 2 second charge to use either version, and eyes glow blue when charging.

c. Swift Release Human Puppet*
-it floats in the air w/ the bottom half of its body covered by its cloak.
-it can also infuse swift nature chakra in its weapons to make them move faster.
-shoots senbon from launchers concealed within the forearms; senbon are covered w/ a poison that slows down reflexes which makes future attacks more likely to hit.
-it can create a smokescreen that comes from the bottom of its cloak; this conceals its movements.
-for quick assassinations, the puppet extends a tanto-sized blade from its mouth and fires it at the intended target. It moves at supersonic speeds b/c of swift nature chakra. Only three blades are prepped at any one time.

2. Puppets

a. Black Widow:
-puppet specialized in capturing
-has 8 limbs (2 legs, 6 arms)
-fires tranquilizer (makes target sleep) darts from mouth
-disperses choking gas from all over body
-fires wires that bind and electrocute victims from all 6 arms
-in addition, all 6 arms have the multi-arm summoning (like Sasori's Third Kazekage puppet). once the arms are deployed, they can also use electrical wire, choking gas, and tranquilizer darts. this allows the Black Widow to capture any target within their web without killing them.

3. Jutsu

a. Magnet Release
He has inherited the kekkei genkai from his clan, and he uses it to enhance his control over puppets. He does this by putting metal frames throughout his puppets' bodies and controlling them. The weakness is that controlling more puppets means they aren't as effective as if he were only concentrating on a few. He can also reuse weapons that his puppets have already thrown for surprise attacks and deflect and use weapons thrown at him by enemies against them. Also, he can use the Third Eye technique, but as an added bonus when his eye closes, his human puppets close one of their eyes and can also see from the Third Eye.

b. Puppet Curse
the same jutsu Hiruko from the 3rd Naruto Shippuden movie used

c. One's Own Life Reincarnation
Kambei can use it without dying. He captures a medical nin and puts the puppet curse on them. He activates the puppet curse and forces them to use One's Own Life Reincarnation in his stead. Kambei has used this process to bring some of his puppets to life. This allows them to fight on their own without being controlled.

I might change, add, or remove things as time passes.

Kankuro is one of my fav characters, and if this one was real, he would come high on the list!

But kankuro having a son and him becoming a puppet master well...the series may end by then.

^ Thanks guys! Yeah, i'm not really set on an appearance for him, and i'm not an artist, so it's hard for me to say. And also as far as him being Kankuro's son, i've got my own characters and story that take place around 25-30 years after the current events of Naruto, so that's when he comes into the picture.
