The account Shika made is now banned. My opinion is that you should NEVER publically post the username and password in a forum: this was just asking for trouble. My suggestion is for you to ask a Quasi to set up a form with all the questions being sent to a hidden forum instead of getting people to use an account.

I feel so sorry for the mods now. dealing with a fool who had no life of their. Taking over the FridayBot was pretty low if you asked me.

While I feel the form way is the wiser option, I don't feel it serves us to condemn Nara's judgment nor the bulk of users having shown an interest. Especially considering it was just one user, and a stupid, easily identified one at that, who had done this. Don't lose heart because of a setback, Shika. See if Err could help you any. Or one of the quasis.

Again, just because most of us knew people are screwed up and opportunistic doesn't mean we should chastise the naive. That only leaves the guilty feeling entitled to their behavior.

Clearly this was going to happen, all this kid did was speed up the inevitable.

For now this is under construction but I'm working with some other staff to make it so people can't exploit the account, or create a new medium for it completely. I think that most of us are mature enough to handle this, and you won't be included in it if you are not. I think I was being rather irrational, closing this off completely. For the time being, this is going to take more time to set up than I originally hoped/intended for it to take because obviously it's more exploitable than I wanted it to be.

So the staff has come up with two ideas thus far.

The first one being Kreegah!!!'s idea, which is that I have someone create a form for people to submit their questions. The only problem that I see with that is I don't think the votes will be anonymous. I believe that if you submit an entry in a form that the form shows a username as well, so I don't know about this option yet.

The second idea, J-Sun's, was that we just give the bot a post count of 15, block off all of the forum features that a regular user would have, and have it set so that the user that is logged onto the account can use it only to send Private Messages. Assuming we can not come up with another idea, I'm sort of leaning towards this option more than the other one just because it's a lot less hassle for the staff.

So for now, yes, it's closed for construction, and I'm thinking more about the latter option. Yes, I'm also considering changing the name from Feedback Friday to something more suitable.

Forms themselves are selective, but whether the forum itself would keep the sender anonymous is beyond my knowledge.

We too have the submission of my projects on Friday only. This is one of the best ideas. After completion of the weekend and a lot of enjoyment on Sunday we will come freshly on Monday and if it is totally busy with the work and others it will be very bad.
