Who says he will go to being a spirit. That would mean he has some type of protection against those types of attacks built in naturally which has yet to be seen. I know Gandalfs full capabilities he is not immune to most magic which is why wizards in most verses counter magical attacks. There is hardly any wizards who can tank any magical attacks without actual countering. A spell is a spell difference is most spells can be defended against. Which is why I conceded on the shield point.

actually he can be..the BG's has an ethical code of conduct for which you will be punished for violating- being a fanboy and being biased are both direct violations of those codes of conduct...where as under said code of conduct SnS is absolutely not obligated to be nice to DL (we actually discourage PBS style debating on this section)

instead of threatening SNS who's simply frustrated because the new regime isn't prepared or willing to do what must be done in regards to fanboys

you adhere to those codes of conduct and infract DL under trolling for being a fanboy and arguing from a position of biased and not actual valid debating.

If you're unwilling to follow those codes as well, do not come in here and threaten our debaters and pick the wrong side to punish in an argument when all that sides doing is showing frustration in response to unreasonable conduct from the other side.

I'm completely lost in this debate, too much jargon and references which I am completely ignorant of. I'm just upholding the forum rules which say the use of duck with a F is never allowed. He can be mean spirited and mad all he wants, but he has to refrain from breaking any rules in the process of debating.

and you are more than welcome to call him out on it but he wasn't the sole offender and I don't like it when the offending side that happens to be guilty of far worse skirts any retribution


if you are going to be acting as FAIL in this section and not debater familiarize yourself with the debate standards of this forum it will help avoid clusterpucks

I do agree with you though, if you're going to be using staff powers beyond that of a simple mod in this section you do need to know a great deal about the fictions being discussed. Too bad we no longer have a FAIL..with such knowledge

I'm going to be honest with you, whatever Dl has done before it was not happening now. He's not agreeing with the majority, but his points are solid enough to continue on. I used to debate in the bg's a few years ago and understand how yall can feel when mad. But this debate is under viz's web domain, so the same rules apply despite the unofficial culture the bg's have fostered.

No his points were not solid enough to continue on at all and you're lecturing about web domain remains completely irrelevant. I wasn't objecting to you taking to task someone with a dirty mouth, that's your job and it'd be idiotic of me to tell you not to do it and it would also be unfair to you so no worries there. I was objecting to you failing to levy the same threat of force on the wanker with no leg to stand on.

the majority thing is a fallacy in and of itself, this section doesn't suffer rampant biased and we don't determine who wins based off popularity. We put a stop to that awhile back
