It was a somewhat good idea by Kubo to kill Kira. He was the remnant of Gin, he hadn't practiced or developed himself as far as we knew and he seemed to have problems with attachment and was a somber character. Probably the same way Ishida and Mayuri got along in Hueco Mundo. In wars you fight from necessity and for survival. If releasing Aizen is what it takes then that's what will be done, I'd just be surprised if Ichigo did it with his tremendous ego; this is the guy who was stupid enough to ask Inoue to heal Ulquiorra so they could fight again, after Ichigo just got a hole punched in his chest effortlessly. Not to mention, other than Gin and Tosen who were his followers anyway Aizen didn't actually kill anyone, certainly no one close to Ichigo. The worst thing he did was slightly traumatize Inoue. Mayuri actually tortured and experimented on Ishida's grandfather until he died.



What manga have you been reading? The Quincy Ichigo's been fighting hasn't been raped at all. The Quincy isn't even that high ranking and he just owned Ayon, the beast that took out Ikkaku, Hisagi, Kira, Matsumoto, and Hinamori before the time skip. And this guy already pointed out that there are Quincies more powerful than him including Ishida and if Ryuken turns out to be evil then everyone is probably screwed. This guys is probably the equivalent of a vice captain rank wise in the Quincy army, when it comes to power level he's easily the equivalent of a mid to high tier captain.

I do have to admit, that is a very good point. I'm not even going to argue against it, actually.

Ishida is calm and Mayuri was under orders to help them. Aizen has no orders. It'd simply be out of a verbal agreement that he would help, which he, with his ego, wouldn't last very long.

I didn't mean that he's getting totally whooped. He took out Ayon, the arrancar, etc., but Ichigo is still fighting like it's nothing and making swings where he can, having already figured out how to beat him. The real hits may not come, but there's still the fact that the weakness has been figured out.

What I am really interested in is why Kubo is bothering to introduce the lower ranking Shinigami. Is he hinting towards them being the future leaders of SS or something?

My guesses for introduction on the lower class is that they may have hidden abilities that are under their sleeves that no one knows yet besides them n Tite Kubo! :P

Why do people keep saying Kira is dead? We've seen other characters (Hiyori) survive arguably worse injuries. As long as a medical reaper gets to him quickly he can survive.

I'm not saying he shouldn't die, I'm just saying I doubt Kubo will actually do it.

You don't know how happy I was when I read "Final Chapter Part 1".

I can't wait until the final chapters, they're usually the best ones in the series. At least that was the case with '20th Century Boys' and 'Monster'.

If anything it means the end for Soul Society and Yamamoto.
WAY too many things left open.

Kirge noted that it's impossible for Uryuu to have weaker arrows showing he knows how strong he is.
Thus implying Uryuu>>>>>>>>>Kirge.That alone is proof that Vandenreich and the Ishida are linked more than just quincies considering he knows what Uryuu is capable of.
Meanwhile we have unknown intruders yet to be seen and quincies having appearantly knowledge of who are captains considering Mohawk took out Kira first then the fodder.

Does anyone get the sneaking suspicion that it won't Ichigo vs Quicny Emperor
but Ichigo vs Uryu....Also it will be FGT Ichigo vs Letz Stil Uryu or whatever it called.

I thought the Ishida were part or were linked to the Vandenreich, but I think now while they do know of each other, the Ishida don't want anything to do with the Vandenreich

Agreed but I think Uryu will be driven to fight Ichigo anyways.
