What's the Hidden Sand like?

Okay, I think you all might be able to help me out.

I'm trying to gather all the information on the Hidden Sand that I can find. Anything pertaining to the land of Wind would be helpful. I wish I could say I was one of those hardcore fans that knew everything, but I'm not. So, I'm hoping a few hardcore fans out there could help me out.

Official cannon is always nice, but I'm also interested in what's popular among the fans. Any information and good links would be appreciated.

You want to more about Suna? Well I being a Sunagakure fan, I could tell you lots of stuff, but even I can't memorize everything about it so here are two articles. One on Sunagakure (Hidden Sand) and a second on the Land of Wind.

Okay, I appreciate the info but I'm not talking about weather. I've seen the show enough to know that the Hidden Sand is clearly sandy and hot and windy. It clearly shows the Sand being placed in the middle of a windy, dry dessert. I got that.

What I'm wondering about is the people and locations. The "Feel" of the city. We know that the hidden sand people are hearty and dedicated, but what else do we know? We know they favor taijutsu and puppet jutsu, but what else? Look at the varience of personalities and places highlighted in the Hidden Leaf, and you'll see the amount of information lacking on the Sand.

So, what I want to know is... What people or places would you put in the Hidden Sand??? What unique jutsu would you include in your Sand Village? Is there a kekkei genkai native to the village?? What villans have affected the Sand and in what ways? Is there a particular cafe or coffee house that locals often frequent? What clans and familys have power within the Sand??

I have all these questions and more. I've exhausted the already written information and I have alot, but I'm curious about so much more??

So, post your opinion. If we could avoid any more weather reports, that'd be great too.
