I still think he could find himself and be happy even if he were "evil". One can revel in discord as it were. So "hope of being saved" with the definition you now used was there regardless.
Kabuto has always been a neutral grey... and to me that's the only way to be. There is rarely ever simply "good" or "evil" ... if such things even exist.

Itachi seems to have gotten to Kabuto though... enough to bring him to tears. Perhaps one master manipulator has another in his snares. Could be ironic given that Kabuto himself knew the power of psychological warfare.

Great Chapter. I enjoyed the back and forth with Kabuto and Itachi, but with Kabuto shedding some tears I fear he's going to die soon.

while I would like more Kabuto goodness Edo Madara can turn to dust for all I care. Though I do want to see what becomes of Tobi's fight.

Actually I wanted to see Kabuto vs Tobi.

But Itachi seems to have ruined that.

Madara and Tobi are exceedingly dull villians. If Kabuto does die, I hope Kishi wraps this whole thing up within a year.

As for this chapter, Kabuto doesn't need to die yet? I see him dying 3 chapters into this fight, but it could switch to Madara fight any week now, seeing as how we would miss an extremely dull battle by having Kabuto dust Madara and the Kage go "lmaopmp"

I'd say Kabuto is more like Sasuke in the sense that they are both "dark," not necessarily evil.

There aren't many Shonen Jump villains that are pure evil, they're more or less insane. So Kabuto being "confused" is more accurate than him being "purely evil."

Anyway, motivation is pretty pointless now. People cry when they're in pain, Kabuto wants to end his suffering, which essentially relates to him killing his own mom because neither of them recognized one another.

If there's a purely evil individual in this story its Tobi. Gotta remember, most of the drama in Naruto world's history is based on Tobi's ambitions for the Bijuu (Nuclear Weapons) and the Five Nation's jocking for power because of the unknown variable Tobi introduced into the world. How many tyrants in our own world have risen and fallen, and made history based around the sole purpose of attaining weapons of mass destruction? Tobi is Osama Bin Laden. And look how drama has come about because of that guy.

Anyway, fact is, if Kabuto was pure evil he would've summoned Edo Madara and gone to his fullest extents to destroy Sasuke and Itachi. The fact he wants to absorb people is related to his fear of loneliness (hinted at in this chapter by that flashback box of him crying alone in the rain).

Unfortunately for him, he's about to lose. Itachi either put his memories in Sasuke or activated something else through Izanami.

Let's tap, slap and wrap this

up and get on to Tobi vs. Naruto plz

Kabuto is reminding me more and more of myself. He's become my favorite character.

I never really had much of a personality myself. There are several instances where I've copied traits of other people to make myself seem as interesting as them. I wish I was more interesting on my own

Everyone has to do that to survive. Thats how people grow upp. Juat try not to over do it. Mix everything youve learned from people but put urself in center of all the traits. Just do what comes natural and the rest should fall into place
