Storm 2's Online is objectively HORRIBLE. In fact i wouldn't really care less if Generations was bad because in the very least i'd rather stick with it's community than go back to Storm 2's even if it will piss me off at times.

Storm 2 had uncounterable broken tactics.. Or seemingly uncounterable. (Sub+TUJ/UJ)

Storm G has other broken tactics that seem worse, but they can at least be countered.

btw Housh I noticed your vid about Puppet Masters. The guy you fought wasn't that great and exploited the fact that you likely weren't used to fighting puppet masters. He wasn't used to fighting them either as I saw. Puppet Masters can be tricky, but it's no where near as bad as Storm 2, where Sasori could chain spam his tilt in such. The trick to beating them is to Jump a lot, and burst into a chakra dash in mid air to get in close. This disrupts the Puppet Master's ability to control the fight with the puppet, because the puppets chakra dash will miss. Also if they are novices chances are they aren't going to move much, which means you can throw when they sit there and block. Also when possible try to disable the puppet with Jutsu, or an assist.

I watched you destroy that Kankaro with Sasori, and the reason was because he played Kankaro how I used to play Sasori. He didn't move and banked on winning the fight by confusing people with his puppet and keeping out of harms way while the puppet goes in, but he wasn't smart enough to know how to get out of harms way or basically not only maneuver the puppet but the puppet master as well. That's the trick to being a good puppet master, being able not simply hold control over the puppet, but to be able to react when someone knows how to get past the puppet.

Jumping around and hurling kunai's, while closing the distance, only to perform an aerial chakra dash will get most novice puppet users. They will just stand there blocking, and try to push you away with either assists or their tilt, but you can throw them like crazy if you're fast. However if they know to get away and are smart enough to change up their tactics they can be more formidable, but still susceptible to aerial assaults and ranged Jutsu's when they try to get some distance.

Never really cared about the story mode much. I really liked Generations story mode though because it was quick, not tedious side missions just to unlock characters and support types. Plus we got epic anime cut scenes.

I think I am one of the only people who wasn't completely blinded by the boss battles. Seriously they weren't that impressive to me, they were good but the way people made a fuss about them being taken out in generations baffled me. I hate having to replay a story when I know how it goes already. Which is why I liked this story mode a lot. I don't miss the Storm 2 boss battles at all, I just enjoy unlocking characters which is why I play story mode and then jump into online.

Gameplay is 10x better too.

Thanks... I guess since my main is Sasori I figured out how to beat puppet masters by watching replays of people who not just killed me but destroyed me! It improved my Sasori gameplay though I still get beat enough, while at the same time teaching me how to beat other puppet masters in the process.

Also you're right... Chiyo is a nightmare.

Yeah overall I would say Generations is better. While I did enjoy the story mode, it's the online that makes the game replayable. Since Generations gameplay is much better that makes it the better game in the long run imo.

They'd have to be fast, which requires skill; If you get hit by it again, then i'd say it's on you. When they do that it's time to call in support or use a rushing jutsu so they just rush into it, at least for me.

Storm 2 was just horrible there was no chance for you if you didn't spam it got so out of hand that you couldn't even play player matches cause people treated it like ranked. In generations anything and everything can counter it just depends on YOU there's always an opening you just have to find it, takes more skill to play but one little mistake can completely mess you up
