I think they might sort of clash...maybe.

The truth should set Sasuke free from all this delusion that Tobi's steered him toward by exploiting his anger. Granted, I don't totally absolve Sasuke of guilt since he's done some wild , but I don't think he's as "lost in the darkness" as some people. Not that that's a bad thought, just on my part I think there's still room for forgiveness if he starts helping.

And he's already on the right track by not trying to fight Itachi again. Itachi's the most important person to Sasuke, so through their conversation, or through the action of this battle, Sasuke will start to change.

I think if he showed up and saw most of Konoha massacred and a lot of the Konoha 11 beaten down he might start to realize that his personal gripes are insignificant. But who knows...

I can't imagine Sasuke submitting to the Eye of the Moon Plan. Sasuke is anti-authority in every single way possible. No way will he stand by and let Tobi take over the world, and him in the process.

So, whatever fight does happen won't be a death match between Naruto and Sasuke...

Besides, Naruto outmatches Sasuke and who cares why, Naruto's the main character and these days he's clearly the most powerful shinobi short of Tobi, and you could argue Edo Madara is strong enough to hang with Naruto's Bijuu Mode.

I don't think Kyuubi will be manipulated through Sasuke's sharingan. I just don't see that happening now that Naruto has attained a level of affinity with the bijuu that only SotSP's had. Tobi on the other hand...yes.

I do expect Tobi to carry out Eye of the Moon Plan.

But Naruto's Will of Fire wil let him break out of the genjutsu. And he'll do some uber sage mode stuff (like Goku using Spirit Bomb and drawing energy from the whole planet).

In my opinion, least this is what I'd like to see.

Kabuto isn't even perfect as a sage, but Naruto is.

Sharingan isn't enough to control Kyuubi. You need powerful chakra to do it.

remember this episode? Sasuke essentially shut down the 9 tails chakra in Naruto. If they were to fight who's to say he couldn't do something similar like this again? effectively neutralizing the advantage the 9 tails gives naruto.

now in regards to my comment about kirin allowing sasuke to keep up with sage mode. I was reffering specifically to the energy/chakra costs. Sage mode helps naruto in speed strength etc. but one major aspect of it was it used natural energy instead of his own chakra, so he has more endurance/can cast more jutsus. Kirin is similar to this because sasuke uses natural energy, and doesn't expend his own chakra supply to use it. thats what I meant by that comment. sorry if that confused you, I was mainly talking about the chakra costs/natural energy aspect of those two things.

I reiterate, Naruto does not outclass Sasuke. Sasuke can still give Naruto a run for his money.

In order to use Kirin, you need adequate weather conditions, and if you don't, you must use your chakra to create those conditions.
Sasuke used Katon: Goryuuka no Jutsu twice to heat up the atmosphere and create storm, then he used chakra manipulation to tame the lightning and crate Kirin out of it.
After that, he could barely stand, he was so weak that he used sword against Susano'o...How can you say that Kirin uses nature energy? It's Raiton jutsu, not Senpou art/jutsu.


The episode in which Sasuke saw Kurama:
You do realize that it was a genjutsu? Sasuke wasn't really inside of Naruto, he used Sharingan to basically make Naruto reveal the bijuu.
He didn't shut down Kurama's chakra, that's impossible.
Madara used Sharingan to control it, yes, but Kurama wasn't sealed then,he was free.
Now it's inside of Naruto, locked with Yondaime-sama's fuuin.
Like I said, Madara, whose chakra is MUCH stronger than Sasuke's, tried to summon Kurama after he was revived and he failed.
All he did was make Naruto's stomach burn.

This is useless now, this was before Naruto & 9-tails work as one, don't forget Sasuke tried to used genjutsu on Killerbee, but it failed for that very reason.

for those who missed it, the photo and episode I was referring to was the one where Sasuke enters naruto's mind and confronts kurama and he's all like bubbles. Kurama mentions Sasuke's chakra is more sinister than his own and reminds him of madara.

I still say a fight between naruto and the sauce would be a close one, if for no other reason than marketing. the series has to end on a bang. no one wants to pull a lost/mass effect. Kishi is smarter than that.

If Kurama wanted to, he could leave Naruto's body right now, but Naruto can't be controlled by Genjutsu even so.

That's what the whole big deal was with the chapter "Kurama!!"

anyways concerning genjutsu. if kurama and naruto are ever separated, naruto would be extremely vulnerable to genjutsu attacks. breaking genjutsu has never been his forte.

yeah kurama is free, currently, we are aware of this. the reason bee broke free of Tsukuyomi was he had the 8 tails in him. Naruto is also basically invulnerable to genjutsu as he has the 9 tails.

i'm only speculating. IF 9 tails and naruto were ever separated, could naruto win a fight on his own? in the past he has proven to be susceptible to genjutsu attacks.
