to be fair that's not without precedent.

History is full of examples of drop outs ending up changing the world for centuries to come

Now to the real stuff, do you even know what a sociopath is?
"A person with a personality disorder manifesting itself in extreme antisocial attitudes and behavior and a lack of conscience"

How does that describe Naruto in any way, shape, or form.
Perhaps psychopath would be more acceptable? He is manipulative, selfish and self-centered. He categorizes the value of the lives of people around him, with Sasuke being at the top of the list.

He's willing to risk starting a war for Sasuke's sake, despite Sasuke being a known terrorist and having a stated goal of killing every man, woman and child in Konoha.

Yes, there's a reason he progressed so much it's called training, more motivation, amazing teachers, a super powerful demon lying inside of him, two S class ninjas living in his seal ready to come out in a pinch, a dream that requires him to become the strongest, a rival that forces him to become stronger than everyone else in order to keep up.
No, it's definitely called horse piss.

Quote:
His friends haven't gotten any weaker in fact by ordinary ninja a lot of them are considered exceptional...Chouji is one of the strongest men in his division and Shikamaru is the greatest genius on the battlefield.
If Shikamaru is a genius I'm Mary Queen of Scots, but that's neither here nor there.

I did not say they got weaker, I said they went from being exceptional to fodder.

Back in part 1, they were mixing it up with named bad guys. Part 2 comes along with people like Kisame who could casually solo 99% of Konoha with one arm tied behind his back.

They were exceptional, fighting off powerful enemies. Now they are fodder because the enemies are now way out of their league.

I've explained to you how Naruto progressed but you seem to want a refresher course.
And I've explained to you how that's horse piss. Justify it as you like, but horse piss is horse piss.

Quote:
Against Neji he uses his knowledge of how to access the Kyuubi to, whaddayaknow access the Kyuubi!!!
And still gets his butt kicked. But then it's revealed that it was a shadow clone and the real Naruto had dug a hole underneath Neji and Neji somehow completely failed to notice despite possessing x-ray vision and not being a blithering idiot.

Plot no jutsu AKA horse piss.

Buncha of blather about learning to be a ninja from Jiraiya which doesn't justify his obscene leaps in power compared to his peers.

A bunch more blather about Sage training, which doesn't justify his obscene leaps in power compared to his peers.

Blatherblatherblather. Kyuubi. Blatherblatherblather. Kushina. Blatherblatherblather.

As I said before, horse piss is horse piss whether you admit it or not. Your justifications don't change that.

Naruto had a third option..using his brains doing some research figuring out who his parents were then..armed with that knowledge he could pushed himself..and hell maybe even made positive contact with Kurama earlier..had he but had a brain

he could have used his pain and outcast nature to really..truly motivate himself we could have seen a charismatic intelligent resourceful and personally powerful person with a million times the justification for going vengefully rogue on the village than Sasuke could hope for it (Re The Uchiha absolutely deserved extermination and Sasuke is nothing but a magical eyeball elitist) and had he chose not do this become the savior he is intended to be only in a vastly less retarded manner

granted Kishi being the hack that he is could never write such a pivotal character moment..could never do that indeed any universe where his beloved magical eyeball children are inferior would be unthinkable and thus the universe must be shaped..in accordance with his own biaseds

One is perfectly capable of forging a rival while recognizing the other person is an emotional cripple from a clan of neo nazi's and measure himself accordingly

Naruto chose to ingratiate himself with the last of a bloodline of Kekkai Genkai supremacists and a hallow vapid girl who was enormously selfish.

He chose to create this unstable dysfunctional family when he has around him..the Nara.s the dog boys the fatasses and the Hyuuga girl and hell even Neiji..where he could have formed a healthy bond..

instead we got what..we got a kid with an attachment disorder clinging to a bunch of crack heads and ruthlessly manipulating anything to keep that unhealthy bond

Naruto doesn't care about Sasukes nature if he did he would have gone out of his way to make sure the little moron didn't become a poor mans Mussolini

no he cared about only one thing,..filling a missing void

and thus inhibits everyone else's personal growth to feed his monstrous insecurities

and becames even more unhinged and deranged and currently has a messiah complex to boot
1.) Yes, as a teenager (or adult) its easy to critique the choices of a five year old orphan. I'm sure as a toddler you would've been Jimmy Neutron boy genius and devised a network full of information on the leaf village history when people you don't even know hate you and refuse to even speak to you.

The only person he knew to ask about his parents was Hiruzen and Hiruzen obviously didn't want to tell him (in the anime he specifically tells Naruto he's not going to bring up the dead). What would you have liked him to do ask strangers, when they all treat him like a leper and kick him out, or ask ninjas who have been ordered to lie. I guess because he's an anime character it's harder for you to relate but geez have some mercy, I really don't see anyone who handled the situation better than he did, certainly not Gaara.

2.) Your entire rant about the Uchiha was completely irrelevant so I'll ignore it.

3.) It was the fact that Sasuke was alone that made Naruto acknowledge him, Sasuke was one of the people who could understand his pain and yet he was still the top of the class so of course Naruto wanted to figure out how to succeed while being alone too. That is why he chose Sasuke, the fact that Sasuke was emotionally crippled made him more relatable than anyone else.

As for Sakura, you got me there, I really despised her as a genin but once again I understand why Naruto would choose her. First of all he thought she was pretty, but he also probably saw her excel in school. To him she represented two things: acknowledgement and success. Naruto admired her intellect and saw her as a challenge that would also help him gauge his strength. He noticed Sakura liked Sasuke, realized it was because Sasuke was strong, and understood that the stronger he became the more Sakura would recognize him. He internalized his dream of becoming a Hokage and made Sakura a representation of that dream. And because he became stronger and inspired her, he changed her from that selfish, annoying girl we all hated.

And you can see in a lot of flashbacks that he was friends with Kiba, Chouji, and Shikamaru when he was a kid, there are at least 20 filler episodes and 4 manga chapters where you can see this.

4.) Ugh, what are you saying. Who's growth has he inhibited he makes everyone around him a better person. He changed Sakura's shallowness, he made Kakashi want to become stronger and protect the village, he made Hinata brave, he changed Neji's view on life, he inspired Tsunade to take over as Hokage, he gave Jiraiya the grandson he never had and someone to pass on his legacy too, he made Konohamaru strong enough to save those close to him. I really don't see where you and Cult are getting this idea that this is somehow a bad thing.

5.) He doesn't have a "messiah complex" because he actually has the power to save those around him. Do police officers and firefighters also have messiah complexes. Do friends and family members who stage interventions or have deep emotional conversation to help people they care about have messiah complexes. You and Cult should both enroll in a psychology course so you can understand all the disorders you guys are incorrectly throwing out.

And on top of that Naruto actually is the savior of the ninja world, it's not some fantasy of his that he entertains while sitting at home or working at some dead-end job, it's something he trains for an can actually accomplish. Jiraiya, Minato, Tsunade, Nagato, Kushina, Fukusaku, Shima, and Kakashi all have said this. If you want to be spiritual about it even the Great Elder Toad made the said that Naruto is the child of prophecy. So even if he did have the "messiah complex" it would be because he actually is the messiah. It'd be like telling Superman he's delusional because he thinks he's a hero.
