Enemy of the State > Friend of the People imo. i know all about the LASERS fiasco (punz...lol) but even some of his newer sounds is going in that direction, SNDCLSH, his recent poppy collabs, even FotP. the lyricism is always there dont get me wrong. but i (and many many others) miss Lu just lacing a Soundtrakk beat, i dont hate the electro, but i like a nice kick snare once in a while dammit!

They're considered the Rolling Stones of rap. Great group. I'd place them in the same tier as Run-DMC and Wu-Tang Clan.

What do you think about the other half of OutKast, Big Boi? From what I've heard, his last album was amazing.

Eh, I would consider it just an experimental period. Kanye had it during the Graduation Era, Wu-Tang had a dubstep album, etc etc. However, the radio in general is starting to show an interest in dubstep, for better or for worse.

Remember Lil Wayne with Skrillex at the Grammys? Ugh.

Shutter Bug is still my driving joint and every song off that album has replay value. i think i said this b4 but if anyone has the chance to see the roots live, do it. only chance u'll have to see dope hip hop performed on tuba.

actually on that last cyper Odd future put out, frank ocean rhymed better than half the other guys. multitalented. n dang i forgot busta signed to young money. smh.

Never been to a rap concert yet, but if I went to one, I'd figure my first either be Kanye West, The Roots, Jay-Z, or Slaughterhouse. I've heard all four are great live hip-hop acts.

Strange. I thought he was only an awesome singer with a good taste of vintage cars.

To be honest, that move seemed completely out of left field to me. Why would a veteran like Busta sign to Cash Money? No one there has been rapping for as long as he has. And let's not discuss skill here.

Yes if I was a rapper and serious about my music I would avoid an album release this year because Kanye is gonna have his hands in everything... On top of that Jay is in the studio so yeah 2012 is GOOD all the way

Great rapper. Really worth listening to. On every single mixtape he put out I've never skipped a track. His lyricism is on par with Jay Z, Lupe and Black Thought.

Lil Wayne goes through so many phases. And I don't think that was a phase for kanye though, I think that's him at his best. He deffinitely lost his humility and completely changed after that album though. 808's and heartbreak was a definite phase though.

Frank Ocean should put out a rap tape, I like him as more of a rapper than a singer even though I think he's great at both.
