Official: Bleach will be made in a live action movie

Surprised there's no thread for this yet

Seems the Screenwriter for Wrath of The Titans, Dan Mazeau is now in charge of doing the screenplay for the live action adaption of Bleach, confirming the movie will be made, and Peter Segal will direct it

Michael Ewing and Masi Oka will be producing

Yeah, THAT Masi Oka

would post the links but since the pages are using images of Bleach characters, won't risk it, if it's ok to put them, someone let me know

Viz will be heavily involved in the movie too, so it seems this might be the 1st American made movie based on an manga/anime which might be good

What better place to shoot a movie....wonder about the other locations unless its soundstaged or what have you.

though speaking of live action Bleach you know who I think could make a good
Bleach movie?

The Wachowski Brothers.

With what they did with the Matrix and the two sequels, I think they would
do an incredible job with the fights of Bleach and really that's what Bleach is.

And also Ichigo's bankai in the Soul Society arc totally reminds me of Neo's outfit.

Though hopefully whoever does Bleach does it justice.

Or at least if they don't just have Kubo yell 'THE HEART" in the theatres.

Dragon Ball Z live action? The live action movie was based on the original Dragon Ball not Z. If they ever made a live action of Z I'd probably go insane.

Back on topic, if they do good with the casting and the story stays close to the manga, I'll definitely watch it. Let's hope for the best.
