itachi was one of the best character on naruto, but he is now history. Now on, the best characters are sasuke,tobi,madara and kabuto.

Remember an important factor, he was sick. Zetsu stated he was being affected by things he normally wouldn't have been effected by. Ontop of that he was half blind (blurred vision). Itachi would have owned Sasuke at his peak.

Itachi is a legend.. I was crying like a baby when he died, and then Sasuke was crying.. And i was like "So much emotions..". xD

maybe you meant itachi was a legend. He is dead and nobody remember him, he was a good character I know that, but he was in the past. Sasuke, tobi, madara, kabuto are the best now!

Also the fact that he wasn't trying to kill Sasuke. Seeing as if he could have finished him off in a matter of seconds.

Lol. that is true... Itachi was stronger than sasuke in that moment. But now sasuke is ten times stronger than itachi. Itachi was strong on his time, but now he is so weak. Sasuke,tobi,madara,naruto, kabuto, killerbee, raikage etc. They are stronger than itachi. itachi is past.

Actually I disagree Sasuke is really just a 'watered down' version of Itachi with lightning style and better Ametarasu flame control. Other than that I'm sure Sasuke is inferior to him in every other way.

I had higher hopes for the fight. Was not as epic as I would hope.

I lol'd when he faceplanted on the wall (I think it was the anime)

It was anti-climatic when he brought up the sussano but just fainted.

I shudda knew something was up >.>

Him being good was one of the BIGGEST TWIST EVER imo

Definitely a top 3 fight in the series, him and sasuke that is. I won't say I expected him to be good but I won't say I didn't expect any hidden motives within him. He took mercy on way too many ninja, especially from the leaf.

And without saying too much, Sasuke is still not up to par with Itachi.

Itachi and young Obito are the only Uchiha's I really liked. Itachi was awesome, capable, and rational. Itachi really was an interesting, and awesome character.
