looking for some new anime to watch

all the animes iv listed, if watched every episode to finish, or to current ongoing. and highly recommend them all.

if i had to look for something specific. id like some good highschool romance comedys with a good storyline.

a good horror anime like Another.

a good mecha that has a story as good, or better than Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

or something that keeps throwing you off with plenty of great twists to go with an amazing story like Durarara.

or something physoligically epic like darker than black.

and general blood and gore with PLENTY of oh so sweet action.

it was a sifi ecchi with a alien cat girl wearing a red and white jumpsuit and a bell around her neck. it was pretty good.)


another one i cant remember the name of: the plot was this highschooler has to be the bodyguard of this super cute succubus that cant controll her powers

with a list like this its no suprise if i forgot a few.

1.Ergo Proxy (Sci-fi mystery, psychologist thriller, philosophical as well)
2.Angel Beats (Comedy, Romance, (it's set in a high school, but a high school in the afterlife), Action)
3.Ga-Rei-Zero (Supernatural, Blood/Violence, but actually has a good plot, some Ecchi, if that matters)
4.Future Diary (Lots of "battle of wits" type of deal, but plenty of action,gore,violence, AMAZING PLOT) currently airing at 22/26 episodes.
5. AnoHana (It's a drama,romance series that has high school students, but it's mostly focused away from school itself) from the same company as Ano Natsu de Matteru
6. Kannagi (comedy, ecchi, somewhat school-based)

I second votes for 1 2 4 6

Add tenchi, guyver, shiki, higurashi no naku koro ni, code geass, gundam 00, serial experiments lain, crest and banner of the stars, 3x3 ova, and battle angel alita ova. I'd also suggest trigun and martian successor nadessico.

First half of kenshin anime is good second half is filler but decent. The ovas are also epic.

I also enjoyed shakugan no shana, and Death note is pure trolling. (Regards uber classic manga which are epic would be battle angel manga, berserk manga, nausicaa manga, all much better than animated versions as of present knowledge.)

The new evangelion movies are radical too, cut out much of the slow segments from the series, and so far seem to be put together very well.

Epic series also should include Ghost in the Shell season 1 and 2. Cowboy bebop, is also another cult classic.

And paprika the movie is out of this world.

Since I see kissxsis was mentioned, taboo is broken in yosuga no sora, but that is hentai.

As for movies the following are also very good:

Ninja Scroll
Vampire hunter D I and II
Fist of the North Star


Regards black rock shooter there's a movie and an 8 episode series so if both have not been watched it is recommended both be watched

If looking for time-sink heavy investment, sailor moon, and case closed detective conan are pretty long series. The various yugioh series are also quite good, but again require way too much time as there are too many episodes

lol every episode of kissxsis = boner achieved.

i cant find the black rock shooter movie. i found a rather long OVA that has nothing to do with the 8 episode TV series. but iv seen some AMV's floating around where there are a lot of characters i haven't seen yet,

The OVA is the movie. Basically. The series is set in a different universe than the OVA. (I guess that's the explanation). The series restarted the whole story basically, so it could have a better and deeper plot.

Did you read the description of the video?

Anime: Black Rock Shooter Ova & Game

I believe the first 55 seconds are all from the Black Rock Shooter PSP game that came out in Japan around a year ago. The rest of it looks like it's from the OVA, just edited using video effects.
