I like the original Naruto more than any of the others. The reason is because you watched an idiot orphan make a name for himself, now apparently he is a chosen child of destiny and everyone is not a ninja anymore they are on the path to super sayins.

I think One Piece was good but I stopped watching it cause toonami went off. I would get into One Piece but I'm too much of a Nartuo tard to like another magna or anime the same. I really don't like Bleach for some reason, it could be that I watched it on adult swim once and I was confused as hell. Also I heard Bleach might losing its time slot in Japan so I can't be that good.

Really it's all the same. Enter boy > Boy is pretty strong and wins fights> Boy meets rival>Rival kicks his ass>Boy gets stronger> Boy breaks even with rival>Enter super villain> He dominates both> Boy fights underlings> Boy gets another power up> Boy fights boss> Boss still to strong> Boy turns into a god on earth.

I mean really you guys actually think Naruto is that much different or weaker on the story side than both series. It is all the same. The only difference is the other two has more comedy. DB started off 75-85% comedy. One piece is similiar in that aspect.

you forgot the part where naruto gets tons of powerups. the part where he becomes best friends with the kyubi within a day, even though the kyubi hated naruto for 13 years. Naruto wanting to be hokage for his entire life decides to toss away his dream to die with sasuke (lolwut). sasukes current motives (evil for the sake of being evil). how kishi made a really hyped villian, oro, get tossed like trash. and the most puzzling thing is how a guy claiming to be a ninja is one of very few blonde haired blue eyed guys in his world, wears a bright orange jumpsuit, and screams practically every time he opens his mouth.

dont get me wrong dragonball and onepiece had a arc that wasnt as good as the rest of the series (boo/hodi jones saga) but they werent nearly as bad as most of naruto part 2

They where ninja for like the first 2 volumes. There haven't really been any deaths of how a ninja would die like a silent assassination or secret ambush. They are as much ninja as One piece is pirates. Just super humans with ether magical eyeballs or magical fruits. Kakashi and Zabuza(they at least dress like shinobi) are the closest thing real ninja and Nami(pirates had to know how to navigate or would die at sea) is the closest real pirate.

Everything you just named happens in almost every shounen manga. Naruto wanting to save his friend turned evil no matter what is an age old theme in these type of stories. Also really the Sasuke arguement is old the dude is f*** up in the head. Anger is an human emotion often times giving way to unlogical responses. Like I always say serial killers kill for less. People get shot over car accidents. What Sasuke's doing is not really all that crazy. Super villains were doomed to fail in Naruto. The villains were already capable of waging war with entire villages he was twelve. It would be even more unrealistic having him fighting or using Oro in that capacity. The blonde hair thing is puzzling. But what is even more puzzling is why the black dude had to rap.

I'll say this in regards to One Piece surpassing DBZ in sales:seeing as how One Piece is a lot longer than DBZ,it was pretty much bound to surpass it eventually.
