Dunno but Oonoki can fly, Makarov can turn into Giant that bigger than battleship -.- He can cast Fairy Law even in his Giant form :P. No way Oonokia fly faster than a battleship :P.

Because of full knowledge Makarov likely wants to do Fairy Law right away before Onoki pulls off the Dust Release.

However at 25 meters and recent feats and past feats suggest Onoki can pull of his Dust Release a bit faster than Makarov.

Makarov going giant is actually a bad idea since thats a death knell on him.

Its best for him to stay small.

In fact its funny because Fairy Law is the only thing that can defeat Onoki.

Fairy Law is not a physical attack. It is a deterrent magic, it discourage further action from enemies.

Also Makarov can use lightning with 1 finger -.- and Oonoki uses earth nature pretty much Makarov got the upper hand.

Lightning > Earth.

I think it would be similar to Sasuke and Deidara. Sasuke used lightning based attack and it negated Deidara clay explosive..

Anime's make character weak -.- Manga Fairy Law which is way bigger than animated.

I'm with you on this... although Onoki seems to be pulling a Sasuke and grabbing tech from nowhere at the silliest opportunity.

That's because Kishi wanted Sasuke's electrical nightmare to be ludicrously powerful to overcome any resistance. Which is what earth powers are--resistors. When the power output is the same, earth "loses" to lightning. But when the scale is off, it goes to the stronger opponent, which in this case was actually Deidara since we know Sasuke had to have his bacon saved.

So using that as an argument is extremely lazy and irresponsible. Also, Dust Element is not just earth anyway.

Because you dont read the manga its not about sasuke electrical being powerful jutsu than deidara bomb. It simply the Five Element Rules on Naruto Verse where it said Lightning > Earth.

And Dust release is mostly Earth. I can say same thing for Deidara Clay, Its a clay, There is just no way that it would be just Earth element, because it has other element on it to make it clay, but still it consider as Earth nature that why Sasuke had advantage..

If you look at Jiraiya Underworld Swamp, it also a Earth jutsu but how can you turn earth into a mud?.

Here makarov summon a lightning, it only take 1 finger for him to do that..

How u know that Oonoki wont die from getting his heart pierce by Lightning itself?.

The element wheel comes into play when two jutsus of similar strength clashes.

If you had read it within the context and the plot he was specficially talking more about Kirin itself with the context of the scope of power and etc.

And why can't he dodge it?

We don't even know how fast it is and even it pierces him he won't suddenly die unless the via plot back problem gets it to him.



Plus Makarov has no idea of the element wheel.

His best bet is use the Fairy Law because Dust Release will kill him unless his giant form pimps slaps Onoki but thats easier said than done.

It depends. If Makarov manages to use Fairy Law then he wins but if Oonoki uses dust release then Makarov dies.

Pretty much.

Onoki can also petrify Makarov and throw him around. Now I am not sure the limits on Makarov's petrification but anyway.

Likewise Makarov has means to get Onoki too with versaltiy of spells and Titan mode but anyway.

Its whoever pulls off their hax move first.

Its just one thing is that Onoki has that mobile advantage.
