This should be a locked thread, it's probably the closest fight to canon never shown.

Using your opponent's strength against themselves isn't something that can't be figured out. People get mixed up between this and the absence of knowledge just because canon intertwined them into the same issue.

Minato will realize conventional attacks aren't working, and develop a plan to make the Third hurt himself bad enough to lose.

I'm pretty sure this was already done in a previous thread.

In any event, the 3rd > A > Minato. If Minato can't beat the A he sure as hell can't beat the Third.

The Third isn't even as fast as A. Minato will run circles around him while reading Jiraiya's book. He realizes taijutsu and ninjutsu don't work and uses his deduction skills to redirect Sandaime's Nukite back into his skull. If Minato could set him down any nicer he probably would have, he's a nice guy like that.

Minato has been shown only redirect projectile based attacks. Nukite in nintaijutsu. Still taijutsu based.

No, he'll redirect it the same way Naruto did. He'll wait until the Third gets close and use the full force of his Rasengan to send Sandaime's Nukite back into his face.

SM Naruto has limited "precog" like sharingan like predictableness. You could well argue Minato has the reflexes to do that though.

Another thing is more essential. SM Naruto's rasengan was amped much by Sage chakra giving it lot more strength while SM naruto himself has incredible strength.

Minato lacks both the sage chakra enhancement or the physical strength in my opinion to do so.

You seriously don't think a Rasengan has enough power to force his arm right back? And that's without saying Minato's Rasengan is much larger than the standard size.

Well, 20 meters is like the start of the A confrontation. I fully agree Minato can easily get away from 3rd and attack. There is no proof the 3rd is as fast as A even if his top speed is impressive.

But Minato can't damage A, how is he going to hurt the 3rd? He can't. Eventually, Minato will be caught is about the jist of this.

I did not say that.

All what occured was Naruto's Sage enhanced Rasengan plus with his Sage Mode Strength was able to push back 3rd Raikage's left arm and impale himself.

Minato lacks both of these enhancements. Could he still with his base strength and rasengan?
I feel doubtful.

I won't be surprised if he could but you could see where I am coming from.

By overranking the RS throw speed. Never get why people consider that it impressive. What's fast is it's expansion speed.

In any case, A's feats in out-maneuvering MS attacks says more to me than having quick refelxes in dodging a RS. A didn't just dodge amateratsu, he was in a completely different location.

Farooq was treating Naruto like he was a toy, Naruto's rasengan is far stronger than the fourths..and IIRC even then he needed to have the guy poke himself.

You have no idea what you're talking about Farooq fingers him...then power bombs him so hard his eye balls pop out of their sockets

Hey, that's not fair. Minato is slippery at least. The problem is that while he has great evasion and denese (reflection powers), he has almost no attack power, but he just didn't need it given who he fought.

Because against Pain, SM FRS crossed the CT crater in one second.

Somehow people don't recall this small portion.

I know this one is RS mode FRS, but for all hypes and purposes and how shonen logic works it shouldn't be that different in speed especially that since it is Rikudo Mode Naruto guiding it with his chakra arms as well.

I don't recall Naruto ever being that far away from Pain when he threw one. Not like he was on the other side of the village. Seems to me it would be like any thrown object in terms of speed. Blocking it is easy, but you can't do that with a FRS, you would die. Pain had to get out of the blast radius, that was the speedy thing.
THe 3rd was another matter because Naruto was too stupid to throw it at his feet and have blow up in his face. Instead, it just flew off into the distance. Of course, for the 3rd, it wouldn't have mattered.

But Naruto only saw the 3rd's reflexes when making that comment. I will give the 3rd that. I guess he also did charge into the whole army, that seemed pretty fast, but not that amazing. It took a few seconds, maybe?

That's all I am really saying, though.
