Sora, those Narutos are obviously weakened versions of a regular Naruto. I dot care what kishi says. The fact that they are always so easily swAtted down obviously means something. Or they were at that point. They're just as good as a base Naruto at best IMO

Yeah but Kishi made it obvious that he was much faster and Lee was confident that he would hit him with Lotus had his speed been what it had been (without the bones in the equation)

Yea but Haku being FTL isn't taken serious. When you come back from injury your not going to be at your peak right away.

Yeah it does mean something. It means Kimi>Lee>Naruto. Kimimaro took down an army of Kyuubi Narutos. Sasuke had some difficulty keeping pace with one. He did it, but it wasn't as insanely casual as when Kimimaro did it.
And if anything Naruto would have been healed due to the kyuubi chakra. And by your logic, Sasuke would have fought a weakened Naruto.
There's no excuse for Naruto's loss. Kimimaro's just that good.

Kyuubi Naruto is at the very most in between weightless Lee and First Gate Lee. I still think Hebi Sasuke's shunshin=1st Gate Lee lol

Lee isn't that fast. Kakashi kept up with Lee's movements with his Sharingan, even when Lee went five gates.

and Kakashi would have taken Sasuke apart in seconds so I'm not really sure why Kakashi being able to track him means Sasuke would of

and how powerful was kimi any ways Kishi over hyped him by giving Orochimaru a line about him village busting or something there was failure to show

I don't see why Lee is so underrated. Kakashi didn't show any signs of keeping up with Lee's movements either. His only reaction to his speed was having a shocked look and saying lee was fast.

I really doubt Sasuke is fast enough to pull of an extreme lotus. Or really anything remotely close

And a weak weightless Lee kept up and sparred with Kimimaro when an army of Kyuubi clones couldn't. And those kyuubi clones roflstomped Sasuke. But b/c of sharingan, he ended up winning. But sharingan=/=speed boost...

well he must not have been overhyped really since Kabuto summonded him for ET.
And I just realized, Kimi can pretty much regenerate from any attack as long as he has chakra and isn't completely raped by like a Tailed beast bomb or deidara's bombs.

The equation's pretty simple Part 1 Lee and Part 1 Neji were stronger than Part 1 Naruto and Part 1 Sasuke...and Kishi did this on purpose. The two sets of rivals were mirrors of each other. Neji and Lee were a year older than Naruto and Sasuke, that's a year more of training and developing their techniques, it was all foreshadowing...just like Lee surpassed Neji by a small amount during the Chuunin Exams Naruto surpassed Sasuke by a small amount by the end of part 1.

Part 1 Sasuke fighting Lee would be similar to him fighting Naruto about a year into the time skip during his Jiraiya training, Lee's skills were just more honed.

The fight would be close though...

Lee without his weights is equal in speed to Sasuke BUT Sasuke cannot maintain that speed for a long time also Sasuke does not have the same strength that Lee has which is never mentioned...Lee was able to lift a huge (probably 200 pound) tree trunk out the ground with one hand, Sasuke would probably solve the stamina, speed, and strength problem with Cursed Seal lvl. 1

Even so, just because Sasuke can match Lee's physical traits doesn't mean he's equal in taijutsu. Sasuke's hand to hand combat techniques were on par with Naruto's but Lee is vastly superior to both in martial arts, Sasuke would have to solve that problem with his three tomoe sharingan.

Then Lee can open the first gate, he would definitely outclass Sasuke in all those categories again, Sasuke would have to resort to using ranged ninjutsu like his katon techniques and shuriken. Lee would then have to counter with his own weapons like the nunchaku or staff which would probably be more difficult.

Finally, Sasuke would have to resort to his Cursed Seal lvl. 2 and Lee would unlock the Five Gates it's pretty obvious by the fact that even Kakashi with far more experience using the three tomoe sharingan had trouble tracking Lee who wins this fight...Sasuke tries Chidori and gets wrapped up by Lee's bandages then dropped like a fly.
