Why do so many people hate Matsuri?

OK here is something I've been wondering for a while and that is, why do so many people hate Matsuri?

Now I personally don't have that many thoughts on the girl. I mean I haven't seen enough of her to really get an opinion on her.

In summary this is what I thought of her.

In part one : Oh look Gaara has a student, cool he's teaching people.

In part two: Oh hey look it's Matsuri and, awww she has a crush on Gaara how cute.......who's the other girl?

I mean seriously why do people hate her so much is it because she has a better chance at getting with Gaara than you? (for the people with anime crushes on Gaara)

Seriously why do they hate her so much?

Yeah, that's basically it, of what Warrior3 said. They envy her and become seriously jealous when a shinibo girl likes their crush (Gaara). And with that, brings all the hatred and hating comments on how much the fangirls hate Matsuri.

I didn't hate her in part 1. But then she turned into an obsessive fangirl of Gaara. I guess that really annoys people.

I like her..but mostly because it reminds me of when Im younger.
Its the same voice actor(english) as Kari from digimon.

I've always thought she was adorable, and pretty cute, so no hate here. P:

But yeah, it's the fangirls who have abnormal crushes on Gaara who complain about her. It's the same as any other fangirls; I remember at a convention I went to, I said I didn't like Len or Sasuke, and I was swamped with hatred from girls the rest of the day. o.e

I honestly don't care. She accepted Gaara and was willing to be his student. If she wants some at home tutoring, then so be it. Only the Gaara fan girls hate her for being a Gaara fan girl
