nejis kaiten (rotation jutsu)

It takes large scale attacks to break it. To stop it, Neji needs to be forced to stop spinning.

Neji's Kaiten is something the reflects chakra back at the attacker. It also can be increased in size, as seen with Hiashi's, making it basically an unstoppable jutsu.

Neji's said to be the most talented, not the most powerful.... but i guess those tend to blend at some point.

It IS also said that his ability surpasses all other Hyuuga.

So it would only make sense that he can do a kaiten of that scale.

But about the power itself... we never truly know if it's even more powerful lol. Ee just know it was bigger and we all assume it's more powerful - which does make some sense.

Anyways, my bad for going off on a tangent... Neji's kaiten would logically be able to be made that big if he choses. It's always been obvious that the user can control how big Kaiten ends up being and every individual would have different limits (just like their limits on distance or bubble vision distance would vary).

I'd say it should be powerful enough to truly deserve to be called an absolute defense.

yeah nicely put. the thing is i was wondering what other weakness kaiten might have, besides stopping him from spinning. for instance, could kidomarus long range guided arrow get through? it seemed pretty powerful in the anime.

No, that would have been blocked too. Common sense tells us this. The reason why Kidomaru went through all the trouble to find a plan to stop rotation, was because he knew none of his attacks would be able to get through; the arrow included.

Why would a strong fire attack get through? Fireballs would blow up upon contact of rotation, resulting in it being ineffective. His blind spot isn't that knowledgeable, and you need a perfect setting to be able to land a kunai in that small opening. In Kidomaru's case, a forest.

Maybe, maybe not. Rotation is composed of chakra that reflects attacks back at the attacker, so it could theoretically distort space/time attacks, and result in space and time canceling each other out, stopping the jutsu altogether.

It was also stated to surpass Gaara's sand in terms of defense.

It was stated and proven to be stronger than Gaara's sand. It was proven, because in the Neji vs Neji fight there were about 20 round craters on the ground, indicating that Neji can indeed spam rotation in part 2. In the same fight a boulder or two was sliced in half, demonstrating that rotation has the power to destroy boulders, something Sasuke's Chidori failed to do during training for the Chunin Exams, which pierced Gaara's sand.

That, along with the reflective nature of rotation, is just common sense that it is stronger than what it has shown.

boulders can't be used as feats
for example sakura punch broke a giant boulder
but when tsunade (wich has better punch) punched orochimaru he was OK
boulders are weak
characters break them easily but neji's kaiten never blocked anything but kunais and shurikens
and when tenten or whatever said it was stronger than gaara's sand that was hype.

Proof that Tsunade has more strength than Sakura? (besides hype?)
And the reason why Oro was okay is because he can't die and he can regenerate. Look at Orochimaru vs KN4. He got hit by a menacing ball and he was still okay.
Boulders are not weak. At all.
And people always use hype to assume that Susanoo gains extra durability after it evolves, despite the fact that it has shown no durability feats since evolving from it's incomplete form.
So really hype can be used.

hey mega i was just pointing that boulders are crushed by characters that are trown in them.
if we take boulders like real boulders,and neji can brake them so easily,then he could block many powerfull atacks not just kunay's and shuriken's
