Why is Naruto alway the weak one?

This is a matter of fact i never get in the Anime series. He killed nearly a god called Pain, and everyone was blabling about him maturing, but still when he fight in a battle he ussualy gets his but kicked at the begining. For exaple against Sai and the Hidden Mist Ninja...Please give me your opinion

IIRC, he let the Hidden Cloud Ninja beat him up.

When after the fight with Pain did Sai ever beat up Naruto and did you mean Cloud Ninja didn't he let them beat him up.

You don't get the point what I mean. They've always made him the looser... An exact oposite of Sasuke for example. That is the thing that I dislike most about the series.
