So tonight I think I lost some of my sanity watching this movie. Has anyone else had the ~~pleasure~~ misfortune of watching this movie?

Its been a while since ive seen Akira....but i thought at the time,it was messed up....cant say now since ive not watched it.

Akira is worth watching, I personally really like it

For an anime adaptation it was well done assuming we did watch the same thing.

I haven't read the manga, so I had no idea what was going on in the movie.

Melodrama. It confused the hell out of me.

I never read the manga either except for few pages but I understood roughly. Plus I read the wiki later.

It actually had meaning behind the typical anime action though.
