Xbox 360 vs Playstation 3

My original 2 360s got the RRoD. My Slim 360 put a perfect circle around one of my discs. I'll start liking it more, when Microsoft makes a product that dies as little as the PS3 or Wii.

Every person i know who has owned a 360 has had the RROD. I haven't noticed a perfect ring round one of my games yet but i bet that was annoying. Does it affect the performance of the game?
The amount of money Microsoft has you expect them to make a decent gaming product.

I've had my Xbox 360 for three years and it hasn't gotten the RRoD. You just get it when it overheats (hence why I don't play it very often)

Well the PS3 is no better since it got hacked to caketown a while ago (poor security Sony!)

And that's why you buy a modern Xbox 360. It probably has beter hardware now but I might be wrong.

Any system could have been hacked into, they just went for the PS3, that simple.

Not nearly as bad as a system that fails as often as the 360 does.

Well when someone tried to hack Microsoft they got banned from the service. The fact is, Microsoft has better security on their consoles.

I'm scared to death of my 360 crashing. I couldn't afford for that to happen... *rocks back and forth*

Are you referring to the PSN Meltdown, or when it got hacked and went offline for six weeks?

I never said it wasn't free. What I was talking about is the fact was in the beginning 360 online gameplay was way better than the PS3. It doesn't even matter I have both but I still play my 360 more.

360 has a much better online service. But PS3's service is decent enough,and its free. Ps3's tend to break way less as well.

Put it this way. 360 has better online service. PS3 graphics are darker and more sharper. 360 graphics are brighter. In gameplay wise to me they are equal.

So? It got hacked it left people that were addicted to COD mad, but that was it. People got their stuff back and etc. PS3s are meant for single-player games anyways. Xbox's usually don't have exclusives and are very unreliable when playing for long periods of time. I've had my PS3 for years and the worst thing it has done was freeze up on a Bethesda game which are known for freezing.

I like the Wii better. So much more fun playing with others and moving around than sitting smashing a few buttons. The only games I really bothered to sit and play on my 360 were NUNS2 (which got boring after a week), GTA 4 and Mirror's Edge.

They're all good systems, just different styles and play options.

I don't care. :P It's a good system, and I happen to like it better. Besides, the other two are basically the same, so it would've been like having two of the same DS systems with one that can take pictures.
