Kebler 22 B

It is a planet just outside our solar system and it is considered in the Goldilocks Zone. It has 290 days. It is in the same position as our planet(it's the 3rd planet from it's sun) It's larger than Earth but they suspect it could hold life.
Problem:
600 light years away. (A Light Year is a unit of measurement of the distance that light travels in a year)
Size( They think it is has an iron core surrounded by water but also by dense gas that gives it, its color and mass)
They have not made measurements.

If life is truly Capable on Kepler 22b. What other name would you give it? How would you cope? What material( elements and compounds) do you think would be cool to find and what would their characteristic be? Would life on that planet be similar or completely and utterly different and have no similiarity what so ever?
How would you get there?(invent a way. It can be anything other than magic )
