Ehh, maybe. But I liked through Jacskon mania, so I am sick of him twice over.

We weren't talking about Elvis, but I don't like him either, perhaps the least of them all.

To be fair I am not huge fans of either. I like their songs at times and give respect to their contributions.

They are both dead and had some good songs. I don't see how fans idiolize them to the point they did though.

I was a kid during the end of it..I'm not big on the guy at all in all honesty but he did do allot for music.

for Jackson his showmanship kinda changed pop

for Elvis? ask the Beatles the guys who basically made modern music. Goerge Harrison constantly compared Elvis to gods whether they be Jesus or Vishnu or what ever..he was in every interview comparing Presley with divine being to an almost creepy fanboy extent.

Lennon summed it up nicely though "Before Elvis there was nothing"

plus the first ever sat broadcast based concern was his and there was one and a half billion people watching., the man...changed things

mind you I think Fats domino and Buddy holly are the ones who should get the credit - they influenced every one..i mean every one
