Theoretically one could live longer there due to less gravity which puts less strain on your heart.

Well we could do what Sise-Neg of Marvel Comics or Chronos in the DC Animated Series did, go back in the beginning and be God.

But even if that was remotely possible we would likely condemn the entire human race so we shouldn't.

Yeah but it requires us to physically invade in order to take control of the facilities. As most of the other countries are already drilling in the hot spots around their territory.

Attacking through air with drones and bombings wouldn't work.

Aim the Nukes maybe =)

Though the easiest way to obtain more energy would be
1. Build Nuclear facilities here
2. Drill the oil we have in Alaska and in the gulf

Problem being Russia is drilling in spots that should be ours, while the EPA is jerking us off and the gas prices rise

Instead of fission we should build fusion reactors but fusion is still in its late infancy despite decades of work.
