I wasn't comparing him to anyone.
And I said IIRC cuz I didn't look back on the page before saying that.
But what about the rest of his body, like his back? the body part that was actually struck.

Well, in all realism I'd have to take in the complexity of Rasengan's shape manipulation. Minato's was decently powerful tbh, and i'm pretty sure it hurts too. The real question is, will it kill Gaara through his sand armor? Remember, even if he is injured, it will not harm his automatic sand defense. He does not need to do much action either, just move his hands a bit where his automatic defense would fail. By that time, he would know of FTG (from there it's pretty much siding with Gaara)

Like I said if Minato manages to touch Gaara then he can just place tags on him directly and continue hitting him. Gaara won't know about the touch seal tags until it's too late. Also, considering the internal damage Rasengan does, I'm confident it would take one or two to take him out.

Not sure if Minato can get through the shield itself though, it's best if he outruns it or something to that effect.

for sure rasengan will kill gaara
look at sasuke's chidori in the first part in penetrated trew the ultimate defense and trew his armor and made gaara bleed if that hit would have been in the chest it would have been a kill
minato's rasengan>1st part sasuke chidori
so it would bee a kill
now with minato's speed and teleportation i am sure he will touch gaara

That was a piercing attack though, Part 1 Gaara tanked blow after blow from 5th gates Lee and the sand is stronger now

The only way he could touch him is if he was blasted downwards like Tobi was. Because if he's blasted sideways then he can't tag him since Gaara's gonna get pushed back.

FTG is his only angle here, Gaara's chakra infused sand casually captures a non-warping Minato.

Along with nearly everyone else in the manga.
