itachi left because he killed the uchiha not because of sasuke

and either way orochimaru would still be alive

Madara said he traded being loved by the village for stoping the revolt to be hated by it.

Itachi would have been treated much the same was sasuke was in the academy.

and yes oruchimaru would be alive, and it would be his job to nab naruto.

but i think itachi would have become naruto's jonin sensei, (sharingan to control the kyuubi) so it wouldn't matter if ourchimaru tried.

There are so many "if"s XD i prefer to hold on to the things at hand, although the idea did cross my mind, but the only thing that would have changed would be the story line, but Naruto himself is not going to change, because he worked mainly to become Hokage, Sasuke only served as competition nothing more nothing less, except that in time they became friends of course, which is leading to what we are all in now.

Naruto without Sasuke is like ham without cheese.

Granted if Sasuke was gone everyone would have more screen time even Naruto.

Naruto would needed something to push him to get stronger. He sought out Sasuke as a rival to better himself.

Naruto wanted to become Hokage but he saw that having a rivalry with an elitist who is out of his league will help him. How that would change? Naruto would probably have to turn to another rival figure or maybe multiple rival figures plus due to the whole 3 man squad thing then Naruto would need another teammate....Sai maybe.

The whole concept of the Senju VS Uchiha wouldn't be as much of value unless if Naruto forms somewhat of a enemy rivalry with Itachi, sorta like Ichigo and Grimmjow/Ulquiorra.

Orochimaru wouldn't have any to chase after for the whole of Part 1. I guess he'll move on to Naruto instead.

Who will Sakura love? Simple, she will be a girl who have no love interest but have many guys(Naruto, Lee, and others) to pine after her and reject them because she wants to focus more on ninja based duties but slowly falls for Naruto and/or Lee. However, Sai has a love interest will be interesting.

The whole destined battled to happen between Sasuke and Naruto will end up being Madara and Naruto instead....well that fight is also destined or supposed to happen as well.
