You peoples aren't really acknowledging Neji's strength. If Sasuke could beat Itachi, then I'm pretty sure that Neji could beat him also. Diseased or not.

Uh, no offense though.

Sasuke didn't exactly defeat Itachi. Well, maybe he did but that's not my point. The Susano'o is more of a double edged sword since it takes up a lot of the user's chakra and Itachi was already weak when he had used the jutsu. It's possible that Itachi's life chakra or something related to that had been taken up by the technique. Also, Sasuke never delivered the finishing blow so he didn't kill him. And if Itachi was at his peak, he would have won hands down.

Sorry, I'm talking about the Uchiha siblings here. But like I said in my first post here, Itachi would definitely win. Though Neji would put up a really good fight...

^ ^ I agree. Itachi is my favourite character and he would obviously own Neji. In my opinion Sharingan is better than Byakugan anyway.

Itachi in my book is high kage, low god tier.

Here's why.

1. Top 10 tier speed
2. #1 in current Genjutsu
3. #1 Susano, both defense and offensive
4. Exuberantly fast Amy
5. Highly intelligent
6. Skilled Fire Style User
7. Pinpoint accuracy with weapons

Here's what Neji cannot survive.

1. Amy
2. A blitz
3. Genjutsu
4. Susano
5. Firestyle: Great Fireball in close

I hate to say it but I think Itachi has a better chance at winning against Neji. I now feel that I have betrayed my favorite male character.
