It maybe, but you saw the flashback when both Hinata and Naruto were very young and Naruto protected Hinata from the bullies that's when Hinata got to know Naruto.

True. But some of that stuff that was supposed to cover Hinata's confession was filler mixed in with the canon material. Kind of like what happened with Tenten's fight with Temari, they needed to add filler in the episode to make the fight interesting. Temari's fight wasn't important enough to cover and the details of the fight were omitted in the manga.

The filler with Naruto helping Hinata against the bullies was an attempt to give Hinata a reason to be so dedicated to Naruto. Problem is, it was entirely unnecessary. For one thing, Hinata already briefly explained in canon why she likes Naruto. For another, fans love to point out that Hinata has a "good reason to like Naruto". If filler had to make up a reason then it makes the fan's claim untrue.

It was as if the anime team forgot that canon had explained the reason for Hinata's feelings. The only thing that hasn't been explained is how Hinata grew to love him during the time skip.

Aren't all fillers unnecessary? It could be a filler i don't know for sure myself. But you are missing my point the reason i talked about this episode is to prove that Naruto knew Hinata before Sakura.

They're necessary in the sense they're used to stop the anime from catching up to the manga. Otherwise you're correct.

No, your point is disproved by the fact that as many have said fillers are noncanon and thus do not count as proof/fact.

You pointed out that "Naruto doesn't know Hinata that well? He even knew her before Sakura..". Then you use that episode as your "proof". How exactly does that episode show Naruto "knowing Hinata before Sakura"? It doesn't.

Yeah...I just re-watched that episode a few minutes ago, Kida trying to watch all of part one...since I've never really watched the entire season. I have to say...it's pretty weird after watching Shippuden for a long time.

But, yeah. Naruto called Hinata weird, but "ok"
He described Sakura as "a cute girl who I really like"
soo, So far it looks like Kishi wanted NS to begin with. But like I said...I never really watched part one completely.

IDK dude. There's comints all over youtube and other sites saying that chapter was mistranslated. It might just be fangirl talk...but it's there.

I think Sakura doesn't clearly like Naruto as much as Sasuke. She likes him as a friend, and that's totally obvious.

I think that Naruto should be with Hinata. As much as I know, Hinata doesn't like Kiba. And I don't know if Kiba likes Hinata, not quite sure.

Sasuke.. well, he likes Sakura.

I don't know the episode, but in the original Naruto, Sasuke told Sakura he cares about her, It's in the zabuza and haku arc.. that's all I remember. Plus, he told her in an episode that he cares about her also.

And we all know that Sakura likes Sasuke.

I happen to have a online site that has the Naruto manga in the RAW. Particularly the chapter (559) in question. If anyone wants to see the raw Japanese chapter pm me. If you are fluent in Japanese and can read it and translate it, it will settle all of the questions of whether it was "mistranslated" or not.

Naruto's the one who saved her, other wise he could've killed her without any hesitation. Now maybe Sasuke cared for Sakura at the original Naruto, not shippuden. At the current Naruto Shippuden episodes NaruSaku's winning

I think it's not as much "likes him asa friend" as it is people hoping her feelings for Naruto are only friendship. Fans of NaruSaku will tell you of the certain hints.

Manga is canon, not the anime. It doesn't matter how the anime went if it isn't shown in the manga.

Sasuke couldn't kill Sakura because certain events stopped him. Kakashi saving her one time and Naruto the other time. He clearly wanted to kill her. Unless you think a Chidori to the skull is his way of saying "hi". Kakashi and Naruto are the only reason she's alive today.

HAHAHA!!! I couldn't help but facepalm at this! SasuSaku is dead! It's pretty obviouse by now. And Sakura DOES want to get over him. That too is obviouse, but it's hard to forget your first crush, but still SasuSaku is gone.

If SasuSaku does happen, all I can say is that would be some pretty bad writing. Sasuke is more than most likely gonna die...and probably Naruto as he did say they would die together if they both fought again.

The only two couples that have a chnce of happening now are NaruSaku and maybe NaruHina. But NS obviously has the upperhand and it's the truth. You can deny all you want but it's the pure hard truth.

SS is dead, end of story.
