Has anyone seen the movie paranormal activity 3 yet

I know this is random but i am asking this because i am going tonight to go see it with a friend and some say its freakin scary and some say its not and i dont know what to expect lol has anyone seen this movie yet?

Depends on your reaction of Paranormal Activity 1 & 2.

Paranormal 3 had a more of an INsidious-esque style.

For me it goes in order of how good they are. Bit like The Matrix. First is the best, then the second but i haven't seen the third Paranormal yet so i can't say for sure.
Paranormal 1 freaked the crap out of me the first time i watched it with a friend. I had to sleep with my tv on the same night and i wasn't right for about a week.
Paranormal 2 was the same but i kind of expected some bits. I watched it in the attic room of my friends house with him on our own and we started to hear noises downstairs which was quite disconcerting. Going to sleep was worse then the first time.
As for Paranormal 3 i haven't seen it yet. Is it any good? Worth getting on Blu-Ray?

All the boys I know that watched it thought it was terrifying, all the girls think it's terrible.

My opinion it's more creepy than scary.

^ ^ Ha i bet the girls were secretly scared. As a self-proclaimed man I can admit when i'm scared and i was terrified when i saw the first two.

However i'm guessing the third isn't going to be as scary because it's now become predictable, it's lost the originality.

Hmm, actually you're wrong there. The 3rd one isn't too similar to the others. And it's also based on the two childrens childhood that they always talked about. But I won't spoil too much for you.

Ahh ok, i'll have to watch it soon and then turn it off before the end

Nah haven't seen Incidious butit does look scary so it's right down my street, haha. Is it any good? You ever seen Devil?

It's brilliant. I don't get scared from movies much, and there are some creepy bits, but rather than scary it's just brilliant and entertaining. There are some freaky scenes though, mainly because your mind can mis-see some things that the lady see's. *rubs eyes*

No I haven't? D: I-is it goodith? what would you rate it out of? 1 being terrible and 10 being brilliant.

Yeah my mind is the same. You start to question every little noise and it's not healthy. But there are no neighbours downstairs making creepy noises for me

Haha i would never turn a movie off near the end, it would ruin the movie and the point. Unless the movie sucked but then i probably wouldn't watch it for that long.
Oooh it sounds good, i'll have to check it out. I remember seeing the trailer for it months ago but i can't actually remember the trailer itself.

It's alright, the twist at the end is good. I like movies with twists, like Sixth Sense

...and Devil has an amazing twist. You won't see it coming. The movie is shot in an elevator with the occasional outside scene, but it's done by M. Night Shyamalan so it's pretty good. However it does drag on a bit halfway through.
I'd give it 8/10

Meh, it was alright, and pretty boring. I didn't even see the first two, and I could sometimes predict what would happen. The end scenes were really the only interesting parts.
