It should be good. Kakashi needs a little bit of his backstory to be revealed thru the anime because I'm sure there are a few peoepel who only watch the anime.

It also seems that TVTokyo wanted to release "Kakashi Gaiden" (Chronicles) because of the 3rd Naruto Shippuuden movie. From what saw from the trailers, it seems to be, another, Kakashi backstory.
So, is it going to be only an "hour special", or there will be more episodes?

Just a 1 hour Special, I think. But im pretty Sure.

Seeing that on the front page of Viz's site absolutely made my month. Definitely my favorite arc of the Naruto manga and soon to be my favorite part of the anime
