Any one else reading or watching the manga or anime of this series?

I'm on episode 24 and it's great.

Does the anime and manga series have a light-hearted frothy feel to it? Or is it heavy?

Sorta both actually. It's about six boys who go to a reformatory school
where they are abused all the time and then their lives afterwards.

Sometimes the story is rather dark as one would expect.
Some of the really early episodes or chapters are rather disturbing.

Other times it gives you warm fuzzies.

You can watch it for free on Hulu.

I should mention that it's for mature audiences.

The series was awesome. I really loved it. I hope that Funimation decides to release an English version of the series.

So, it's just kind of like an ani-mocumentary of 6 boys and their lives dealing with the after-effects of abuse?

I'll be on my way to Hulu then.
