quick guide about neg rep

To find any of them, click this and just scroll down to Quasiadmin or just find the green usernames.

Repwhoring [rep trading]: Involved in a group of users who rep each other as much as possible and or continually asking for rep.
--With or without contributing something to be repped for.

If the Amids or Q-'Amids' see that you are repping people for no, other, reason than to boost their rep amounts the staff will intervene as they see fit; even if it is only between two user.

Repwhoring or rep trading may include, but is not limited to:
* 'Rep me and I'll rep you back' signatures (Signatures that suggest repwhoring or "Rep me" are up for interpretation.)

*threads asking for rep

*Posting 'Rep me"

*Asking for rep via different mediums (IMs, PMs, rep messages, etc.)

*Leaving nothing but, or almost nothing, negative reputation comments for people in general or for the same member


Gang Negging: Getting a group, of two or more, users to neg one or more users. In addition to using flaming, cursing, and insults in reputation comments

EXAMPLE: Going into opposing fan clubs just to neg one of its members or associates.
----There is no reason to go into an opposing faction and neg for something you don't agree with when you shouldn't be there in the first place.

Repwhoring (Also called rep trading.)
Getting involved in a circle of friends to rep each other as much as possible and/or continually asking for rep, either with or without contributing something to be repped for. Basically, if we see that you are repping people back for no other reason than to boost their rep amounts the staff will intervene as they see fit. Even if it is only back and forth between two people. Repwhoring or rep trading may include, but is not limited to:
Rep me and I'll rep you back signatures or avatars. (Signatures that suggest repwhoring or "Rep me" are up for interpretation.)
Making threads asking for people to rep you.
Posting "REP ME," or any variants that are synonymous to it, in any and all threads on the boards.
Asking for rep via different mediums (IMs, PMs, rep messages, etc.)
Leaving nothing but, or almost nothing but, negative reputation comments for people in general or for the same member.

Though I suppose this makes things easier for new members but that just means less activity for the dead ANBU thread.

Rep abuse should be reported to either a Quasi Admin or Admin, Admins have green usernames and so should be easily recognised. A list of quasis can be found by clicking 'View Forum Leaders' at the bottom of the index page just above the latest posts box.

Gang negative repping ~

• Asking anyone to negative rep someone, can be an individual or a group.
• Negative repping anyone because they are a member of a certain group. There is no reason to go into an opposing faction or group and negative rep them for something you don't agree with when you shouldn't be there in the first place.

Using flaming, cursing, and other insults in reputation comments is also unacceptible.
