it's 2 and maybe Some cards have dangerous effects and Yugi knows nothing about Scyhro and XYZ monsters

If Shikamaru is smarter about the way he plays he can think of like 300 moves ahead or something.

Well in anycase there are 3 scenarios and the first is the only one I can see Shikamaru possibly winning or atleast giving Yugi a tough time.

To be fair Shikimaru's not extremely slow, remember how he got on top of Temari's fan who attempted to spleedblitz him on the ground? But yeah throwing Kunai is kinda cheating >.>

Knowing Shikamaru I'd say depending on that would make a difference especially against God Cards.

Hmmm.... Idk in terms of intellect Shika may have a fighting chance.

But Yugi could just use the heart of the cards.

Scenario 1. Shika wins (Maybe)

Scenario 2. Yugi/Yami take it

Yugi already did the same exact thing, except with no prep. And he faced the creator of a game, when he was actually hiding things from him and refusing to tell him how to play where Yugi messed up and had no idea what he was doing. And he learned on his own and ended up beating, the creator.

Shika doesn't win, at all. Ever. Simple.

That's not very important. The important thing is, when he needed to roll a 6 on a dice to win, it was impossible, because it was a 5 sided die.

It broke while rolling and he got a 6 because he needed to win. Some lowly Naruto character won't be beating him at this with only an hour, give Shika 20 years and he'll pale in comparison to the Great Yugi-sama.

Give him Yugi's deck, same exact draws, and mind as Yugi, an exact clone does the exact same thing, Yugi will still win. Have some omnipotent/shenron thing give Shika a specific power called "Being able to beat Yugi Muto in every duel ever" and Yugi will still win.

And it's not cheating, it's his ability, he's the King of Games. Yugi. Even if it was. It counts, so he wins.

And @pie: he doesn't have to know about Synchro and Exceed monsters, he learns pretty easily as the game goes on, and they're just monsters like any other so him not having them in his deck won't hurt him in any way since it's shika who does the summoning if he does.

He learned about Dice Monsters and beat the creator again I'll say, and the game he's already a master of learning about a simple summoning shouldn't be hard. Especially in YGO3D seemed pretty simple to grasp the concept.

Hey I was under the impression the bg characters start off bloodlusted anyways. The OP didn't say he can't stab him. Also from what I have seen those duels can get pretty rough.
