I couldn't beat the game. I think the farthest I got was the giant ant level or the sand worm level. I had to use the passwords to get further, but then you don't have any weapons when you use passwords >_<

The first ant level is pretty brutal, difficulty spikes out of nowhere.

I still hate the level with the chainsaw guys and the hedge maze, creeps me out.

Ahh the good ol days of the super nes, wen game creators didn't care about catering to noobs who complained about difficulty.

I wished I played it. Would you suggest playing it with a rom with a keyboard, or would that be too hard?

It's doable with a keyboard if you're willing to spend the time getting used to all the controls.

I'll always recommend a controller over the keyboard though for old school games. This one is pretty fast paced too, having a controller will help definitely.

I bought my wired 360 controller way back when for $20 specifically for playing emulations on the PC. Though now I use it for any game that is better played with it, such as racing games. Never had a problem with it, although sometimes I wish it had another 10 buttons but this isn't the age of the Jaguar.

Still, I'll always recommend them since their compatibility for games is sky high.

Just don't get a PS3 controller, too many games require you to get a 360 controller emulation program for the PS3 controllers to work properly. Need an emulation for your emulation.

What types of wizardry did you use to get an xbox controller for 20 dollars, years ago? e.e You've got to be sheeting me, I need an xbox emulator to make my ps3 emulator work correctly? xD That's like needing a tow truck to make my car move.

I <3 the Jag, has the best Alien Vs Predator game their ever was.

I dunno, bought it at a Target years ago. Maybe it was on sale.

No I mean in order for a PS3 controller to work properly with many games/emulations you need to download another program that when used will emulate a 360 controller for the game, because many games and emulations don't like PS3 controllers.
Or you can just get a 360 controller and not have to do all of that pointless work.

Do you have a wii? You can buy it on the virtual console. That's what I plan on doing.

I remember playin this game,think it was for the sega genesis also but played it for SNES....farthest without cheat codes i got was one of the big baby stages....ah the memories.

I just got it on my Wii. I've already lost a lot of victims. I died at level 22, The Revenge of Dr. Tounge because my mystery potion killed me instead of healed me Dx

Ah well, it's definitely a new record for me though. Even if I barely survived most levels. Survived 4 levels with 1 health left, no lives, and no first-aid kits. xP
